A two day, two night stay. From the arrival and welcome to our departure no effort was spared to make our stay quite memorable. Warmth, friendliness, lovely tastefully furnished and decorated. accommodation, to the home cooked breakfast, eggs from next door, bacon from a farm of the road! And a truly beautiful garden completely with interesting wood carvings and sculpture,... More

We holidayed here for 6 nights in July & can only agree with the other reviews on TripAdvisor. The room (we stayed in the red room) had everything you need during your stay, with the bonus of your own front door, so you can come & go without disturbing others. The other room (the blue room) has the same facilities,... More

My wife and I left Yew Tree House today after two glorious nights and two superb breakfasts. We are a fussy, picky pair of guests but in all honesty if we were asked to find something to moan about we would be unable to come up with anything. All of the accolades within these reviews are fully justified and Jo... More

Yew Tree B and B is a truly delightful little slice of british countryside.....with a twist. Jo and Clive are incredible hosts. They both went out of their way to make us feel welcome and at home. The whole ambience of Yew Tree is that of a calm, easy-going, retreat. The grounds are fabulous quintessentially rambling country garden 'revved-up' by... More

We found the property on Google maps close to a church where we attended a funeral and how lucky we were. We have stayed in many B&Bs but this was the best by some margin. Our hosts were friendly and welcoming and their attention to detail astonishing. The breakfasts were excellent and the bed extremely comfortable; in fact, we could... More

We originally found Yew Tree House while looking for birdwatching B&B's in which to stay over the Easter weekend. After some deliberation (mainly due to the cost) we decided to go ahead and book. Right from that moment I knew we had picked the right place when in email contact with Clive & Jo - it was clear that they... More

We decided on the spur of the moment to get away for a few days between Christmas and New Year so my husband searched the internet for 4 star b & b's Shrewsbury and Yew Tree House came up. What a stroke of luck for us! This is a fabulous b & b, modern arty décor, spotlessly clean and warm.... More

I thought I had previously posted my review of this wonderful B & B, but can't find it so here it is! Clive and Jo are delightfully warm and friendly - Clive even gave me a didgeridoo lesson! The accommodation is fantastic, and it is lovely to have your own 'front door' and little courtyard to sit outside. The gardens... More

My partner and I stayed at Yew Tree House over a weekend in September. Ostensibly, we were attending a local motor sport event but were also treating the stay as a mini-break to ‘recharge the batteries.’ In this respect, the B&B proved to be an excellent choice of accommodation. Owners, Jo and Clive were the perfect hosts and worked tirelessly... More
