Myself and my partner had a one night stay yesterday. We had a great welcome on arrival and was shown to our ground floor room. It was clean, tidy, compact and quite sufficient. The bed and bedding was spotless. The pine bed frame was slightly tired and unstable. My partner fetched a staff member to have a look,he gave us a upstairs...

Met my sister & brother in law here to exchange Christmas goodies, we had travelled from North Yorkshire, they had arrived from Berkshire......long trips for both due to weather & traffic. We were made very welcome, rooms clean & spacious, beer & wine cold!! Bit of a mix up with our dinner reservations, on the Friday, however there was a...

It's been a few months since we have called at the Plume of Feathers but we were not disappointed a good selection on the menu and some excellent specials. Visited on Sunday after looking at the menu on the outside we decided what we wanted, when we walked in we got given a different menu, I asked about a sandwich on the menu from outside and got told "I don't know where that is on the menu" so I ordered something different. Overall the food didn't taste that great,...

We arrived at about 18.35 on a Sunday, blame the M25, to be told the last orders were at 18.45 and we had to order while we were standing there, having only just put our bags on the bar floor and still had our...

Came here for dinner on a Thursday night with the family. Unfortunately didn’t get off to a great start after a white wine spritzer and black and soda were ordered. The soda water was so flat it was like drinking Ribena and the spritzer had no bubbles at all. We sent the spritzer back for a normal wine and I...
