very disapointed with our stay here staff not very friendly on arrival nor very helpful, lodges far too close to one another and no privacy whatsoever, no mobile phone connection at all through out our stay which worried me through my stay not being able to contact family members also no wi fi, hot tub not very strong jets only... Beautiful lodge (although a lot of cobwebs, could have done with a good Hoover prior to arrival) park is in a very secluded area, can't just walk to a pub for lunch etc, driving is a must. Mandarin plus lodge is perfectly situated on the site. Only downfall is as we stayed for a week would have been nice for... More

Amazing location and lodge. A meal at the Lion pub/hotel is a must. Table outside by the river is just heavenly. Spotlessly clean, comfy beds and lovely hot tub. Extremely secluded and relaxing. Lots of wildlife including fluffy bunnies everywhere. Only criticism is that we couldn't turn the temperature down on the hot tub down. It was a warm weekend... More

Booked 4 nights in a mandarins plus lodge but we were upgraded to a kingfisher lodge, the whole area is beautiful, with plenty of great walks and Ashlea pools makes a great base to do this from. You do really need a car to get around to different areas because there are no footpaths and the cars travel fast. On... More

Just spent a 4-night break here with two small children. Lodges were to a very high standard. Welcome pack of food essentials was very thoughtful. Park was very clean and peaceful. Great location for exploring Surrounding areas. Would definitely recommend.

We stayed for a week in the Goldcrest VIP lodge. The lodge we were allocated was privately owned and brand new, in fact we were only the third couple/group to have stayed in it. The lodge was brilliantly well equipped, with a splendid en-suite (bigger than our bathroom at home!), comfortable beds, and a decent sized TV. A real home... More

Lodges well spaced around a small lake. We used the site as a base for day trips around to local castles, stately homes, Ironbridge, Severn Valley Railway and the lovely countryside, for example Carding Mill Valley. Plenty of options for eating out within a few miles: Clun, Leintwardine, Ludlow or just chilling out on your decking overlooking the lake and... More
