On our annual reunion, six of us stayed recently at Upper Buckton Farm for three nights. Yvonne and Hayden Lloyd are excellent hosts, making our visit most welcoming and enjoyable. Their elegant home is in a small hamlet on the Herefordshire/Shropshire border, in an idyllic position overlooking pastureland towards the river Teme. It has attractive gardens with a lovely lawn... The hosts, Yvonne and Hayden, are very welcoming and you are made to feel very much at home. The setting is very special with delightful open views across the valley. The rooms are very spacious and are immaculately maintained and the breakfasts are excellent. We have stayed at Upper Buckton many times when visiting family in the area and would... More

The Lloyds are natural hosts and put you at ease as soon as they answer their front door. Hayden runs the 400 acre sheep farm in the most wonderfully glorious Hereford countryside and also officiates the local 'Steeple Chase' or point-to-point events on the estate. Yvonne's precinct is the home which is comfortably luxurious with out being over the top... More

It's a beautiful house set in the middle of rolling countryside, and the hosts are most welcoming and hospitable. This was our second visit, and we fully intend to return for longer stays really so that we can include some good walking. The locally sourced breakfast is delicious and when we dined in last year the meal was superb. There... More

This is a delightful escape, amid idyllic countryside, close to the Welsh border. The rooms are delightful and spotlessly clean, and the welcome warm and charming. The other guests at the time of our stay have been returning annually for ten years. We sadly had obligations that meant we could not have supper there, so we missed out on the... More

Upper Buckton Farm is the most ideal country residence for a relaxing stay. It is so peaceful and quiet with great views over the countryside. Our hosts, Yvonne and Haydon, made us feel so welcome. First of all, we had a cup of tea and cake in the lounge. We felt so much at home. Our room was very comfortable... More

Yvonne & Hayden made myself, my husband and my husbands parents feel more than welcome. They welcomed us into their home like family. The rooms were gorgeous, so beautiful and cosy. The food was utterly delicious, we started our evening with a drink (a very generous measure of g &t for me), followed by the most delicious meal - we... More

Yvonne and Hayden really run a fabulous Bed and Breakfast. Yvonne will also prepare you an evening meal. Ours was superb, wonderful smoked salmon stuffed with prawns, followed by stuffed roast grouse, beautifully cooked roast potatoes from the farm, carrots and sprouts. Desert was a red berryfool, and the cheese board was out of this world. The whole meal was... More

Lovely comfortable double room with stupendous view across the mill stream and meandering river to the distant hills. Warm welcome from Yvonne and farmer Hayden -and Pepper (sheepdog) - although I think Pepper was a bit miffed that within five minutes of my arrival, Yvonne had asked me to help get some sheep out of a pen and up the...
