We went to The Crown for our silver anniversary and it was just perfect from start to finish, great welcome, lovely surroundings, excellent service from friendly staff. Our meal was Sensational perfectly cooked delicious and piping hot which is rare these days. The wine that accompanied it was great too . I cannot praise them enough and we will definitely...

We booked a Groupon deal, bed breakfast and one evening meal for two of us for only £99.00. This was a brilliant deal at less than £45 a head. The staff are lovely and friendly and are all quite young, even the manager. We saw him inducting two new staff on our day of arrival and he was very thorough...

We stayed at the Crown Inn, firstly in May, for my Birthday, then again in August for my partners Birthday. We stayed in room 8 in May, and room 12 in August. The Crown Inn is a 16th Century building with plenty of low beams and uneven floors, PERFECT. We stayed on the deal that was being offered, 3 nights...

We stayed here for 3 nights, Simon the Manager gave us a warm welcome & showed us to our rooms. We were in room 2 in the cottages, very comfortable beds, room clean & tidy, although not sound proof as we could hear everything that went on in the room above us. Breakfast was very good, but would have liked...

Yes they are things wrong at The Crown. It does need updating (note to owners as everyone is saying this consistent message) and it's a little basic - showers need modernising, light is a bit dim but the positives out way the negatives. The staff are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The breakfast is great and they...

Inn is full , filled with guests on some kind of deal. The deals provide excellent value - 2 nights with bed and breakfast, and 3 course dinner on first night for 2 people £99!!! The staff are superb, friendly, and eager to make stay good. However the inn is very tired , needs painting, cleaning and a revamp. The...

Following a fabulous morning walking up Titterstone Clee Hill we called in for a bite to eat and a drink. Not the friendliest if receptions! The beer and cider was especially good; pity the same couldn't be said about the food. Ham baguettes. Why, oh why, do pubs insist on serving up baguettes from the freezer - they are always...

We stayed with friends for 3 nights, they were in the cottages and we were in the old house. We went on a Wowcher and for what we paid it was a very fair deal. Although the food was very good overall we did have two occasions when meat was overcooked, once pork and once steak. We dismissed the pork...

This is a 16th Century building which is quite charming. The room I stayed in could do with some tlc and the tv was ridiculously small! BUT, this aside it was a pleasant stay and the staff were friendly and helpful. Their jewel is really the restaurant. The food and presentation was really lovely. They are very busy and I...
