Visited for a 2 night break. this time had a room in one of their cottages, which was very nice. Food was still excellent on this 2nd visit. Staff very friendly. Building very clean. Although the restaurant was very busy our food was served quickly and was very hot.

What a great place in the middle of nowhere, the three course evening meal was of exceptional quality and even better value. The bedroom was both clean and functional with plenty of hot water for showers and a bath. We will definitely be having a short break here again

Booked via a Groupon. Cannot fault it offers excellent value for money. The early bird menu is excellent and good value. Staff very friendly, very helpful and efficient. The accommodation is not typical, we were allocated an anex which had two rooms. Perfect as we were with a friend. Both rooms were clean and comfortable. Definitely worth the 5 star... More

We stayed here for a 2nd visit, as it meant we could explore lovely parts of S. Shropshire. The inn is well located, although traffic on the A4117 can be quite noisy. Our room also has a very noisy extractor fan in the bathroom. This place could be really great if more attention was paid to maintenance. Staff are very... More

Just completed 2 night stay - staff are really lovely - friendly helpful and hardworking - food was delicious - breakfast and dinner were spot on. Room was a little small (15) but adequate for 2 nights - bed very comfy and cleanliness was good too - as with others reviews - I would agree that little tlc wouldn't go... More

We have just returned from two nights here (bed & breakfast with a three course dinner on the first night). The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food (both breakfast and dinner) were excellent. We were in a very small room (room 15) but it was adequate for our needs and is dog friendly. We agree that the... More

Got it through wowcher. We stayed in the old part of the hotel, lovely big room comfortable bed. Creaky floor but adds to the character . Food was fantastic, staff were all very friendly. Lovely surrounding area , we went to Ludlow about half hr away which was very nice and has a large castle.

We stayed on a deal which included 2 nights B and B with dinner on the first evening. The staff were most helpful and friendly. The meal was very good as was the service. Good location for walking and visiting Ludlow. The only adverse comment would be that the hotel is very tired and could do with some tlc.

Lovely friendly staff , old travellers in with beams . Needs a few bits updated but overall very friendly & great food too. Simon the manager is very helpful , nothing too much trouble . Would definitely go back & would recommend .

Lovely little hotel. Made very welcome by all the staff, who really couldn't do enough for you. Even managed to arrange a third night at the last minute as we were made to feel so welcome. Ok, so the place needs a little love and attention that anyone on 'four in a bed' would rip to pieces. But I found... More
