Fantastic little find - very quaint and unique - turns out this is 300 year old coaching inn, and our room was formerly a horse stable - such a lovely room (room 12), with a stone wall - very rustic, we loved it. Not too close too town, so no evening noise from bars or restaurants, but close enough to...

Some will love it, some won't, but we loved it here! Friendly manager by the name of Gino who cooked great Italian food and it is cooked fresh to order. Nothing is too much trouble and the accommodation was lovely! If you have trouble parking in the yard, the guys will do it for you, but we personally didn't have...

When we arrived the carpark turned out to be a small courtyard for 3 cars. As we were earlyish it seemed like we'd be ok, but heaven forbid if we'd been later! We stayed in Room 1, the Laughing Cowvalier room. The bed is amazing, the room looked ok but the bathroom was a bit grim. The 'rules' said we...

When arriving the car park was full but there was nothing to say where the overflow car park was. So I pulled over (on the busy main road) to phone and ask where to park. No one answered after 3 times of ringing. Once I finally got it sorted the person who greeted me had attitude and looked liked he...

I stayed here for a wedding and recommend for a night's stay. For the money it is fabulous value, very comfortable and the owner is utterly charming. My room was gorgeous! Was very happy here as a solo traveller. It is worth noting the hotel is on a main road, so light sleepers may benefit from ear plugs, but it...

If I had marked this on first impressions I would have struggled to get to three but bear with me on the journey. Situated at the west end of Witney this restaurant cum hotel sits on a main junction leading out of town about 3/4 mile walk from the town centre. The adverts refer to a car park but this...
