Stayed here for 2 nights for a family wedding nearby. The hotel is immaculate and the rooms are lovely. The bed was huge and very comfy. There was a tray of tea, coffee and biscuits. The rooms have great facilities for a wedding- ironing board, iron, hairdryer, full length mirror. All meant we didn't have to go looking for these... More

Richard was very welcoming and accommodating. Beautiful room with freshly laundered white sheets and every comfort considered. Great breakfast. Really good pub opposite. Our room was at the front and whilst it didn't bother us, we could hear people returning from the pub on Saturday night.

Stayed for one night in July, after spending a night in Abingdon at a more expensive hotel. This one was, by far, the more comfortable and a better room. The location is perfect to visit Witney or surrounding Cotswolds. Parking was easy, even on a Saturday afternoon. Our host was lovely, as was his little dog (who joined me for... More

Family members stayed here overnight and had THE most wonderful stay. Firstly, the house is beautiful and is in a great central location. The rooms are decorated to the highest standard and the en suites are contemporary. The interiors are exemplorary and tasteful but still retain character. Secondly, the breakfast. We joined our family for breakfast this morning and we... More

Stayed for a couple of nights with my fiancé while on a trip to Witney. The whole room was nicely furnished with everything you need and it was all clean (definitely cleaner than my house). The bed was really comfy as well we both had a very good nights sleep, the first night the misses fell asleep at about 9pm... More

We stayed here for 2 nights for a wedding in the area. We stay in a lot of hotels and b&bs around the world for work and pleasure and this was our 4th weekend in a row away from home, to put our experience into context. Whilst the b&b was fine (particularly in comparision to some of the other places... More

Great host - Thank you Richard for making our stay so enjoyable. Spotlessly clean, great food and so handy for the centre and travelling around the area. Breakfast was plentiful and great quality, but the overall friendliness made it a pleasure to be there - don't miss out on this place if you are looking to stay local.

I stayed here for one night this week as was attending a funeral. This guest house is brilliant. Warmly welcomed and made to feel at ease. I was in room 4, first floor at the front of the building overlooking Corn Street. The room had a comfortable, large four poster bed, lovely linen and decent pillows. Compact bathroom but a... More
