The menu, as in many restaurants is pretty meat based. However, the vegetarian food that we ate here was probably the best and tastiest meal I've ever has when eating out. I recommend the restaurant to all.

My partner and I stayed here recently after a friend's wedding. The staff were very accommodating, allowing us to check in early so that we could drop off our bags. The room (Segsbury) was perfect for an over night stay, was exceptionally clean, very well appointed, with good quality shower and complementary toiletries. Breakfast was delicious, and included a vegetarian... More

I stayed here this Saturday night in the suite on the top floor. The suite has a roll top bath and a massive bed. Lovely and clean, tea and coffee, tv, what more could you want. I will be going there again.

We had a lovely stay and great food here. The rooms are beautifully and tastefully furnished, well equipped and very comfortable. Our room had exposed beams and original low doors very much in keeping with the original character of the inn, but the décor was modern and fresh. We ate both evening meal and breakfast; both of which were beautifully... More

We stayed for one night after a party meal in the restaurant. The food and service were superb and our family room was a delightful place to retire afterwards. The rooms are tastefully and luxuriously furnished with every convenience for a comfortable stay - more like a boutique hotel. Our daughters had their own room off of ours and were... More

I stayed here one night - the room was very nicely furnished and with a good sized en-suite too. It was a very nice touch to be offered a small thermos of real milk to make teas and coffees with rather than nasty packs of UHT. We ate dinner here in the evening - and it was absolutely superb -... Great rooms, beautifully decorated with a real quality feel to everything. Staff were excellent and breakfast was obviously made with good quality ingredients and with plenty of choice. Thank you for looking after us so well.

Lovely stay. Wish we could've stayed longer. Facilities were exceptional and the staff were beyond helpful! Food was fantastic and breakfast was beautifully cooked with amazingly tasty ingredients! Welcomed our pooch with open arms and the little extra details in the room or placements of our table for eating was very thoughtful! Can't wait to stay again thank you.

We stayed for one night only but had a superb super with friends. More fine dining than pub food (and great value too). Room very comfortable. Staff couldn't be more helpful. Breakfast refined.
