This was a lovely quaint hotel in Thame. Very reasonable stay and very good breakfast with all you could eat.host very friendly and helpful. This is a traditional coaching inn so don't go expecting modern contemporary! Yes the room was smaller than a modern hotel and the floor creaked a bit but what do you expect? It was clean ,warm... This is a pub where I have been having business lunches since the early eighties, but first time in recent years. It remains a good place to meet and has a good range of beer on offer. On this occasion we had a hydraulic lunch and so cannot comment on the other than it looked good.

A quirky place with a lot of character. We went on a two night deal which was very good value. You get the impression that the pub trade is the local focus but a very modernised set of rooms, up a historic flight of stairs, shows what can be done. The room was designed with very good taste with a... More

My husband and I were traveling and we didn't have reservations but just stopped in to see if there was any room. Lucky for us there was. The Swan has a charming old pub area which served delicious food, friendly patrons and an owner who went out of her way to make us comfortable. The scrumptious breakfast was served in a... More

Stayed here for 4 nights.... Great wee hotel.... Owners very friendly and trusting. It's the oldest pub in Thame.... Rooms were smallish.... But they had everything you needed.... Clean ensuite, TV, wifi, towels.... Amazing breakfast. Order a cooked breakfast that sets you up for the day. . Every floor and wall is soo Wonkey.... It adds to its character

Lovely room, spotless and comfortable - a home away from home - the staff are welcoming and breakfast was made to order! There are romantic rooms too! Telephone to book. Lovely bar downstairs. There are lots of stairs as this is a very old building. But highly recommend. Brilliant value for money

Stayed for two nights for wedding nearby.Good Location in the centre of Thame.Staff were pleasant and helpful. Room was small but very clean. Breakfast was great and is cooked to order so very fresh.Bit of an 80's disco in the bar on the Friday night which was a good craic! for us of that vintage.Lovely building with lots of character.

This is a nice welcoming hotel once we found where to checkin as no obvious door signs. That was the only negative part of what was a very enjoyable stay. People have mentioned rooms small but its what was expected from an ancient establishment. The Cromwell room was well furnished, clean and just what I expected. The breakfast (both days)... More
