We got married here in 2010. We miss it ever since.the dream of perfect timeless, old fashioned- gorgeous wedding they provided for us. It was all first class....the food, the drinks, the venue, the staff everything. As our family were from abroad ( Germany and Finland) some stayed the night there and totally loved it.So did we!

What a gem of a place! If you don't like gin, go anyway - it's picture-perfect, full of character and has a wonderful atmosphere. The bar is comfortable, certainly very conducive to a jolly night, and the food is fabulous. If you DO like gin, brace yourself, the Gin Pantry has over 350 varieties, an impressive sight. It is well... More

We visited The Cotswold Plough before, just for a drink. I booked a night for my husbands birthday as we had always meant to return . The Cotswold Plough lived up to all expectation. Welcome, accommodation. Great advice at the bar. Neither of us drink Gin but we do now!!! The fire was lit and the sofas were cosy. Dinner... More

We stayed for one night in a spacious, comfortable and very clean four poster room, all little extras suppled! We enjoyed excellent food both at dinner and breakfast and were introduced to the perfect GIN! What made the experience even more enjoyable was the service and communication from all the staff, having visited many hotels this has to be the... More

We had cream tea which was great, and lots of lovely food. The room was large and very clean and the bed the most comfortable we've ever slept in. It was very quiet and we were made to feel very welcome by the owners and staff. We ate in the bar and had a delicious meal alongside a range of... More

We enjoyed a cream tea in the afternoon whilst relaxing on the big comfy sofas and reading the Sunday papers. The gin tasting experience was fantastic, we discovered quite a bit about our favorite tipple. Dinner was nice. Starters couldn't be faulted, my partner had shin of beef for main which was extremely tender. I opted for the battered haddock... More

My partner and I just took a short weekend break. We stayed in a Four Poster room which was lovely. I found the bed didnt suit me but am sure thats just a personal thing. The bathroom was good with a very good shower. Unfortunately one of the tap heads for the shower kept falling off. Its wear and tear... More

I had business nearby and booked three nights in the hotel. Rooms great and exactly what I needed for a short stay. However I was over the moon to discover there was a gin pantry. I will be coming back to try the 300 gins I didn't get the chance to test over the three days but the ones I... More

I chose this hotel from previous reviews, and they are accurate. Great staff, interesting building, nothing was too much trouble. The accommodation was great, although a little warm, nothing opening a window didn't fix! We are in the restaurant and again this was very good. The Gin pantry is awsome, even if you just have a look, it's a Wow!... More
