I stayed here on a Saturday night in a beautiful room. The setting is very cosy and location and Inn were both very quiet. The dinner in the restaurant was stunning - all the food I saw was to a very good standard. I had a lovely sole and the cuisine exceeded my expectations for what is a small country... More

I have visited the Lamb Inn twice now, once at a private party and for dinner with my Godmother. The food is wonderful! Very fresh and not your typical 'pub food' at all! The location is also very picturesque and quiet. Theres a very relaxed, homely feel! Definitely recommend if you're in the area.

Had a lovely walk along the Thames and saw this pub not too far from it in a picturesque village. Friendly staff and great food in a nice large pub garden. A nice menu to choose from. Will definately be back.

We stayed at the Lamb Inn over a weekend and had a great stay. The owners are very friendly and the staff are polite, professional and very accommodating. The rooms are both comfortable and clean, (although a proper shower to stand in would be a great addition). The food, made with all locally sourced products, was absolutely fabulous with reasonable... More

Lovely place with a good atmosphere. Food excellent and interesting choice of real ales. Service could have been a little more prompt. Bread before meal was a good touch and a good varied choice if wines.

Had a delicious dinner - beetroot tart tatin was fantastic, generous portion of slow roasted belly pork for one of us, and cauliflower fritters then partridge for the other, followed by a large and rich chocolate pot with orange. Not cheap, but certainly value for your money. Spent the night in room 1 - good size, very clean. Also very... More

We have been to the Lamb 3 times now for Sunday Lunch. The first time we had the lamb and it was very good. The next time I tried the wild mushroom risotto , poor, the mushrooms had no flavour very boring. The third time I had the loin of pork, very poor, tough, crackling soggy, and the vegetables arrived... More

From looking at the website and booking to our leaving was wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble. Our room was delightful with everything one would need and more. Our meal was fantastic as was our breakfast. I couldn't recommend it more, the best place to stay and eat especially if you are waking the Thames Path far better than anything... More
