Very friendly lady on reception, nice clean room with everything you need only down side was it was quite small. Lovely grounds and swimming pool. You book the pool and get it to yourself which I thought was great. We walked into the town which was very close but you would need a torch or something walking back at night...

Accommodation very spacious and overall well equipped, but it was let down by cobwebs and dust, and the furniture and fittings were quite tired. Swimming pool lovely, but changing facilities less than adequate. At this price, it hardly justifies its advertised 4 star rating.

We enjoyed our stay near Abingdon, as Kingfisher Barn is in a lovely location, and walking into Abingdon and down to the river is very easy. We stayed in both the B&B rooms and Stable Cottage. The cottage was spacious, well-equipped and clean; however, the bathrooms would benefit from an update and the wheel-in shower area for the member of...

Great place to stay, so convenient for Abingdon, a flat easy walk. The rooms were well equipped, the bed was comfortable, gave me the best nights sleep I'd had all week. The staff were all lovely really kind and helpful, although a little expensive I would certainly stay again, and would feel safe if I was on my own.

We were there in early July as our elder daughter was getting married nearby. A very pleasant peaceful location but easy to walk into Abingdon. The Lodge was very spacious and well equipped and it suited us well. The staff were friendly and helpful. However the whole place needed redecorating and felt a bit tawdry round the edges. Our experience...

This was a dog friendly cottage no. 1 with a £25 cleaning surcharge. They obviously didnt use it to clean the carpet . The window had been wedged open before we arrived and was difficult to close but you had too because it wasnt safe to leave belongings in the room. I did close it- went to Oxford for a...

On our arrival at reception we were greeted by a very friendly lady, and in fact all the people we met were the same. We were "encouraged " to use a taxi for our visit to Radley College,a journey we were told would cost £5 or £6 each way,but was actually £12 there and £11 back! Our accommodation was situated in...

Nice location, off the main road but only 5mins walk to the town or river, very quiet at night. Staff were all very helpful and friendly. They were prepared to serve breakfast a little earlier for us since we had to be elsewhere by 0830. Breakfast was good, super scrambled eggs. The room we had was a twin, OK for...

We stayed in The Nest for a week whilst my daughter was at Cello School nearby. The location was perfect & the barn conversion was beyond our wildest dreams! Everyone was very welcoming & even our dog was made at home with a lovely blanket & dog bowls. Stunning views, a well equipped kitchen & comfy bed -what more could...

My husband and I stayed in The Granary cottage for the weekend - it was fabulous! Clean, well equipped and cosy. The site itself is in walking distance of the town but retains a rural feel, nice and quiet. We found some lovely walks along the river to take our dog on. Dogs are welcome at the barn which was...
