Nice clean and tidy very friendly owner, the room I stayed in had three single beds would have done the three of us who had stayed rather than having a double room as well, no local bus to radley college, had to use taxis.

Thank you for your kind comments, although I am puzzled by your reference about the beds as the rooms allocated were as requested. There are pictures of all the rooms on my website as well as all the sites hosted by the various 3rd party online travel agents and guests usually stay in the rooms they have booked - that... More

We stayed here 2nd -4th September 2016, ''Wow!'' What a great surprise, Terry was there to welcome us what a lovely lady, our standard king size room was more than standard was superb, everything you could think of was there from complimentary tea, coffee, biscuits to toiletries in the en -suite, not forgetting the iron + board and hairdrier, (could... Thank you for your very kind words, it is very reassuring to know that we exceeded your expectations and were a pleasant surprise for you. However we continue to seek ways to make guests stay even better. This means that, if you do come again, you will again be 'Wowed'. Hopefully it will not be too long before you find... More

Stayed for two nights B&B, Room was very comfortable Breakfast was perfect, cooked to order and as much as you required. Host Terry was on hand with advice on where to go (in our case the Thames River Boat trip to Oxford ) and was very helpful regarding local eateries. One in particular being the Spread Eagle Pub where we... More

Thank you for your very kind words, it is very gratifying to know that my efforts to assist guests have been appreciated. However, for the avoidance of doubt to anyone reading your review, I thought that I should respond to your comment about the 'bathroom' and confirm that this relates purely to the facility of a 'bath' as all the... Lovely guest house - well run and friendly! Had the best stay and cannot thank Tracey enough for her hospitality! Room was v peaceful and the food was great! We were greeted with warm drinks and home made cake! Stayed as visiting Blenheim Palace but will be returning as Abingdon is certainly worth a return visit!

This guesthouse bends over backwards to cater for guests with facilities for those with disabilities and hypo allergenic rooms. Terry is welcoming and organised. The one downside for me is its proximity to the main road and so the traffic noise. If, like me, you find night-time noise difficult to sleep through, ask for a room at the back of... More

Thank you for your kind words - but hopefully we bend over backwards to cater for all of our guests ...... not just any with a disability! :-) I am sorry that you found the road noise difficult but a lot does depend upon which room you are in, the weather conditions and - of course - your proximity to... I stay on a very regular basis in hotels all over the world and have never really considered bed and breakfasts before, however due to no spaces in the area I decided to risk a b&b. Abbey guest house is a total gem and if in the area again I would definitely stay there. From the welcome email from Terry... More

We stayed here before and after a family wedding. Proprietor was very helpful with finding a great place for an evening meal after our evening arrival. Breakfast was lovely. Owner makes great efforts to ensure the space is accessible to all. She succeeds.

Thank you for your kind words, it is very satisfying to know that our efforts here have been appreciated. Although I do have a 'Breakfast Award' it is more important to me that my guests enjoy their breakfasts here as this is the meal that should set everyone up for the day. I am pleased that you enjoyed yours. Thank... More

Everything about this guest house is superb! When we booked the e-mail response given our circumstances (an autistic adult daughter & a need for soya milk) was so understanding & welcoming, we were impressed before we even arrived. It is extremely gratifying to know that we have met your needs as that is always our aim. We try never to differentiate between our guests irrespective of any 'dis' ability as our ethos is that everyone should experience the same (hopefully!) high level of service, and the intent is that everyone should feel comfortable and welcome. Regretfully there is... More

Would stay here again if in the area. Slightly out of town centre but easy to get to. Nice pub nearby for evening meal.
