What a lovely place to eat, with lots of choice and a carvery, great service friendly staff and lovely surroundings nice village location for a lovely lunch or evening meal, all homemade food would recommend the pie.

Best Sunday lunch I've had in a while - plenty of choices. Meats were cooked to perfection, 3 types of potatoes, all delicious, loads of veg & the gravy finished it off beautifully. Even though it was busy, the service was great with little waiting time. I will definitely go again.

Recently refurbished after floods which has seen The Old Reindeer become more restaurant and less pub than before. Have brought many friends here and many have returned after with family and friends of their own. Service can sometimes be a little slow, but the... More

Obviously a popular place. Plates were being piled high. Carvery meats and veg were fine- we enjoyed our lunch, nothing fancy just a good old fashioned roast. Wouldn't remotely qualify as fine dining but for a family Sunday lunch outing it was good value. If we visit again we will choose a week day- will probably be a bit less... More
