For what I paid each night I certainly will not complain! Housekeeping could use a few pointers but we're all human - I did clean my room prior to actually staying in it but again for the price and hospitality that was the least of my worries. The manager Dee is very kind and welcoming & his staff is just the same. This place gives that home like feeling ! Even my kiddos had no complaints LOL - plenty of nearby budget friendly restaurants and it's conveniently located behind a turkey hill gas station. GPD does patrol the area - but they do not pester you. 5 stars ! ❤️

Stayed just one night. room was clean staff was helpful, price was reasonable. Right on my travel route returning to New York from North Carolina with a side trip to Kentucky. Perhaps saw a sign on the highway that led me here.

I stayed at this Motel 6 after my flight was delayed and my departure reschuled. It was not the first time I stayed here and I chose this location because it was renovated, has restaurants adjacent to the properties and is in a very public area. That being said, my fiance had to leave for work in the morning and my delayed flight was not until the evening, I had a late checkout planned, Uber scheduled to drive me to the airport. Within 2 minutes of my fiances departure from my room, I had a male housekeeping staff member enter my locked room, unannounced, no knock, as I was in a state of undress not facing the door, laying across the bed in my nightgown, giving him quite an embarassing view from me, making me feel exposed and violated. It was so soon after my fiance left that I was about to ask what he forgot when I realized he no longer had the key. I jumped up and rushed the door, having to push the male housekeeper out of my room and slamming the door. I tried to call the front desk only the hotel phone had a dial tone but the buttons did not work, so shakily I called from my cell. The front desk said they would contact management. I received a call back saying it was just a mistake and a full refund issued. To add insult to injury as I was trying to get showered, packed and ready to leave with a chair wedged under the door, the front desk has the nerve to call and ask why I had not checked out. I had to remind them of the late checkout. As my Uber driver shows up and I am walking away, the female housekeepers are all standing together, talking and pointing their fingers at me. I spent the next 7 hours at the airport where I was safe rather than enjoying one of the fine restaurants near the hotel or do any of the shopping that I had planned. Ladies reading this, that housekeeper waited until my fiance had turned onto and across the highway into traffic before he opened my door, my fiance walked passed him on his way to the car. Use caution ladies and always check the locks and phones. The deadbolt apparently on this door was tricky, it took me 4 attempts after that to get it to latch and I still blocked the door!

In town for the weekend, I needed an affordable place for me and my cat to spend the night. After reading reviews I thought this Motel 6 would be nice. It was...possible for me to sleep here and thank God I had my cat. The location was good, near restaurants, grocery, and shopping if you needed anything in a pinch. In the room there was a fly and two gnats which were great entertainment for the cat for a good ten minutes. Free toys like that can be fun for the four legged. Other than that, no bugs which is a plus. It did not smell of smoke, also a plus. There was also the fridge and plenty of room to move around the king size bed. There was a hole in the bedspread, dark spots on the mattress that showed through the sheets, and not-my-hair in the towels however and I don’t plan on ever returning.
