Rob, Tegan and all the team are most welcoming, the hotel is superb serving the best breakfasts and in a wonderful position, with fantastic views from all windows, just a step over the dunes and you are on the perfect beach. Trips round the Farnes leaving from the harbour, just 7 minutes up the road, are not to be missed.... More

We spent 2 nights here with family & wished it could have been more. All the staff are so welcoming & friendly. The location is fantastic; walk across the road & you are on beach or in under 5 mins you are at the harbour where boats leave for the islands. Food was super; both breakfast & dinner in the... Rob and team have done a fantastic job since taking on this hotel only a year ago. You know as soon as you step through the the door that your stay will be relaxing and enjoyable and it was all of that. We were very late to book so had the smaller room, but great to wake up in the... More

We booked St Aidan's for my husbands birthday treat. He wanted a beautiful view and that is exactly what he got. Our room was the Longstone and it had a large window with a magnificent view to Banborough Castle and Holy Island. Our bed was king size and extremely comfortable. There were plenty of toiletries and the towels were changed... More

A trip to the Farnes has been on my bucket list for years. I picked St Aidan's from the reviews here on Tripadvisor. I couldn't have picked a better place. From the moment arrived Rob was friendly and helpful and I was able to revise my plans positively as I went along, based on his advice. The views from my... More

My friend and I stayed for a night just over 2 weeks ago. The stay was fabulous. The owner has a warm welcoming manner and a passion for good customer service. The rooms are welcoming and the view from our room fabulous. A pair of binoculars on the windowsill typifies the attention given to making the stay that bit extra special.... More

Great food, fish and meat beautifully cooked. Great coffee, friendly service. Not expensive. Recommended to us, ate there today and already booked again for the last night before going home. Just went to the bistro for a meal. Didn't stay.

Stayed for 5 nights recently having discovered the place after visiting the bistro when renting a cottage locally last year. The transformations of this lovely B&B continues and Rob and team have created a lovely establishment with a relaxed and welcoming vibe. The key staff members worked at Hotel du Vin / Malmaison previously (our favourite hotel chain) so a... More
