Gareth and David are wonderful hosts; nothing is too much trouble. We stayed here with my wife's sister's family who are vegetarians/vegan and our hosts made sure that they had vegan sausages, soya milk and other vegan food in for breakfast. The rooms are really comfortable, with nice additional touches like fresh milk in the fridge, a great coffee machine and tap water in an elegant glass dispenser. The breakfasts are delicious and you will not go hungry! Their Covid-19 protocols are excellent - hand sanitiser outside and inside, TV remote and keys sanitised and provided in a plastic bag, all the rooms fully cleaned and sanitised after each guest leaves and socially-distanced tables in the breakfast area among other things. Will definitely come back again. Thanks to Gareth and David for a great stay.

Such a professionally run establishment with great room with added little touches that other B&Bs done normally have, like a fresh coffee machine, a small fridge with fresh milk and bottled water. The room was very clean and all Covid 19 precautions were covered. The breakfast which is included in the booking was freshly made to order and was delicious.

So glad we found this B&B. We booked the Chillingham Room, it was on the ground floor, was bright and airy with lovely decoration, spotlessly
clean, couple of arm chairs to relax or watch TV and even a wee desk and chair for makeup, reading etc. Loved the Egyptian cotton bedding and sumptuous bath towels.
We really appreciated fridge with cool water and fresh milk, water dispenser and numerous teas, coffees and hot chocolate.
Our breakfast was excellent with great service, choices from yogurts, cereal, fruit juices, jams etc followed by a hot cooked breakfast of ur choice. Well presented and of lovely quality. Certainly started your day well.
Picnic bench at side garden to use if you wished to sit outside. We can highly recommend staying here and thank Gareth and David for sharing there lovely home.
The town and harbour is just a few minutes walk away with some lovely wee shops, there are a few restaurants close by and we enjoyed trying them during our visit. This is a lovely area to visit, bustly town with lots of daytrippers and holiday makers. Bambrugh castle is close by (amazing )and there are lovely boat trips from the harbour.

Holly trees put us up when the b + b we had planned to stay at let us down at the last minute. We are so grateful to them for making our stay in Northumberland a great few days. The b + b is immaculate and everything in the room was really well thought out; fresh milk in the fridge, wine glasses and opener in the room, lots of storage etc. The breakfasts were delicious, service friendly, efficient and discrete. It’s ideally situated in a quiet road within walking distance from the centre of Seahouses which makes it perfect for walks to Bamburgh. We really enjoyed our time here and will stay again if we return to Seahouses.

Hollytrees is in a quiet street (parking just outside) within a few minutes walk of the harbour/shops/restaurants, and is a very convenient spot for touring the coast. We had the ground floor front bedroom which was very light and airy. The bed was comfortable, there was fresh water and milk (kept in a silent refrigerator) every day, with tea, coffee, biscuits. The only snag were the curtains in the bay window behind the bed. They could go with draw cords at the side instead of in the middle. The bathroom was quiet small, though the shower cubicle was a reasonable size with a powerful shower. The only shelving was above the loo, and the washbasin was very small. Nice white fluffy towels with a heated towel rail.
The breakfast room was next door, breakfasts were freshly cooked and you could make up your own from the usual eggs, bacon etc. The scrambled eggs with smoked salmon were especially good.

I cannot thank our two hosts enough. Gareth and David were both super friendly. They addressed us by name and ensured we got everything we required during our short stay, including a delicious breakfast each morning. Having just opened following the COVID 19 closure, everything was in place to make you feel safe and at ease. Thank you so much, a comfy and pleasing stay in a beautiful part of the country.

This cosy Bed and Breakfast is well located within easy walking distance of the town and ideal for booking trips to the Farne Islands. The accommodation is comfortable and the hosts David and Gareth seem to have though of everything you may need. Make up remover in the bedroom, chocolates, and even fresh milk in the room fridge. They have provided guide books to borrow showing the best places to visit and even an umbrella if it is raining. David know the area well so can give you handy tips for walks and places to visit. Our room was very comfortable and the beds was great. Breakfast was home cooked and you had a great choice. Highly recommend the Holly Trees .

Stayed here for 3 nights. All the info we needed about check in and parking was emailed and texted before hand as well as recommendations about where to eat. We had a lovely room on the ground floor, clean and tidy and with added touches of nice coffee machine and fresh milk. Breakfast was delicious and cooked to order so very fresh. The location is great for exploring Seahouses and parking not an issue as we were able to park right outside. Gareth was very friendly and on hand if needed. The shower was not the best I’ve ever had due to pressure and changing temp of the water but it’s not the worst either. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a nice clean bed tasty breakfast in a quiet street but a short walk into the centre of town.

Good clean accommodation in an excellent location close to all amenities, good choice of pubs, restaurants and shops within five minutes walk.
Coffee making facilities in the room and a welcome added bonus of a small fridge in the room with fresh bottle of tap water each day. Plenty of parking in road outside the guest house.
