I love coming up here every year. Had to come here for lunch today with my hubby even though we were stopping at another inn overnight. Hubby didn't want any lunch as his mother who lives in the northeast had made him a bacon sandwich on the way up here. You have to remember we now live in Suffolk. So... More

While staying in the caravan park in the town we nipped into The Olde Ship for a pint and a spot of lunch. The front bar is gorgeous, beer excellent and food was to die for. Will certainly be back. Thank you

What an amazing hotel, totally authentic, spotlessly clean, history everywhere, amazing locations, ultra friendly staff, incredible food. As you guessed we have had an amazing short stay, Infact we wish we had booked longer. Most friendly social able bar, staff and other customers of any pub/hotel I have ever visited.

The Olde Ship Inn is located right by the harbour looking across to the Farne Islands. A really cosy, warm and comfortable pub with an astonishing amount of nautical items on display. Very comfortable room, excellent meals, and good range of real ale. Although often very busy in the bar, it is rare to have to wait to be served.... More

Tasty food in cosy pub - with exceptional service. We were a group of 12 needing refreshments and food and the staff couldn't have tried any harder to make sure we were all happy. Thank you very much. 😄

I am always a little worried about 'staying above the pub' bu the Ship was a delight, very clean and bright rooms, and the bar is a sight to behold! crowded with sea faring items and superb selection of real ale. Locals very friendly and a great atmosphere. Food served in a little side restaurant room and was wholesome and... More

This was our first time staying here, but we had eaten here on a previous vist.. We received excellent customer service by the receptionist during booking by phone, on arrival and upon leaving. Pleasant greeting, warrm smile and nothing too much trouble. The executive suite we stayed in (the Bungalow) was spotlessly clean, warm, the beds very comfortable and it... More
