I like to visit the Ship whenever we are in Seahouses It is an amazing bar, authentic fishing memorabilia everywhere. Literally like being on an old ship. Staff are lovely and beers are great. There is also a Beer Garden in summer months. Very clean and lots space to sit. The main bar is always busy but lots of side... More

We stayed at the ship inn- double room with en suite in a very busy pub, fantastic beer garden overlooking the harbour - I didn't have any good there, but the meals looked fantastic. Free parking and the staff were friendly and helpful- good place to stay for a short stay at seahouses

We were in one of the Harbour View rooms with a separate sitting room overlooking the harbour. The rooms were fastidiously clean and the beds really comfortable. Nothing seemed too much trouble for the staff who were friendly helpful and polite evening and morning mealtimes. The food was good and well priced and the breakfast excellent, if anything too much.... More

Came on on spec on a Monday. The Olde Ship Inn was incredibly busy but we were directed to a quiet lounge while a table was prepared for us. The place is stuffed with seagoing 'bits and bobs' which is interesting and a great talking point. Our waitress was chatty and could not have been more helpful. We ordered the... More

Visited for a wee dram and a bite to eat. Very popular place so much so that seating was an issue but the Bar-staff seem clued up and found us a place fairly promptly. Enjoyed usual pub grub type meal and the Guinness is just Guinness. Interesting decor in the front Bar-room but not able to enjoy as too many... More

As was the Upper Deck, where we stayed two years ago. That was tired looking too and in need of some upgrading. Good accommodaion, but... More

My sister is staying there this week and I went up on Thursday to see her for the day. The Olde Ship is fabulous they have so many interesting objects, the whole place is full of packed shelves, packed corridors all full of shipping memorabilia items on walls, hanging from ceilings I could have spent all day just looking at... Stayed 3 nights after booking at the last minute. We knew that we would have to swap rooms after the first night which wasn't a problem. Paid £94 per night B&b for the two of us. First room was a large top floor twin which seemed to have been refurbished recently with a lovely bathroom, original beams and a sea... More

Overall a good experience. We got there early as advised on this forum and this proved great advise. Even early mid-week this is a popular venue and lunch time is very busy. The on-site brewed beer is very good. Service at the bar is functional. Food was good. The crab was a hit with our group and I enjoyed the... More
