This is our second visit and we've already booked the third. The room we had this time (room 2) was even nicer than the first. Everything was in the right place and there was plenty of room. The food was amazing again, breakfast and evening meal. There was nothing to fault with this hotel and I would recommend anyone travelling...

On my short visit to Otterburn, my family and I were happy to have had two lovely evening meals in the restaurant and I can say that everyone was so friendly, After our meals my husband and his brother thoroughly enjoyed playing pool in the bar. It was Lovely to meet Carrol and hope to visit again.

Found this pub when travelling down the A68 and wanted to explore Kielder Forest. Have stayed here twice now. A really great old fashioned pub with a wonderful landlady and friendly staff. An open fire, great beer and good, reasonably priced home cooked food. Breakfast was wonderful and freshly cooked for you, not from a "hot" plate. There was a...

What's the most important thing for any member of staff in a restaurant or pub to do when a customer walks in the door? Yep - make eye contact, crack a smile, even a 'be with you in a minute'. This first impression goes such a long way, but we got none of these at the Redesdale Arms, 2 staff...

Stopped off on the way home last Sunday. Had a roast lamb dinner and it was lovely. Staff were very friendly. Only down side was the bread and butter pudding as it was made with brown bread. This should always be made with white bread. Lovely decorated restaurant area.

I stayed here with 3 friends. It was exceptional value for money. The food was very impressive. Whilst it feels like you are in the middle of nowhere the road outside is quite busy (nothing compared to living in Kent) but I couldn't hear the traffic from my room which was at the side of the hotel. (Room 2- was...

OK for an overnight stop, but on a fast stretch of a busy A road with blind corners at either end. It proved impossible to cross the road safely to go for a walk in the attractive countryside opposite.

Dear Jandrew, I’m sorry you found the A68 to be a problem, it must have been particularly busy when you stayed, because it is normally OK to cross. There is also a lovely wooded are to the side of the pub where you can walk and experience the wildlife such as red squirrels and deer. We are worthy of more...
