Rooms basic but clean.Good service all round. The breakfast is as good as any I have had.Only a short walk to centre of town where there are real ale pubs and fish and chip shops all at reasonable prices and of good standards.

High standard and good quality furniture. The large bathroom is lovely and clean and modern and the whole place is spotless, couldn't have asked for a better stay! Fridge,...

A rather nice little place albeit with 'Work in progress'. The building was seemingly created from a few cottages with a new wing added which appeared to give access to the enclosed/walled car-park that was accessible via an archway entrance that could accommodate Transit type vans. There was more than ample CCTV coverage of the whole site - both inside...

We stayed in Morpheth Lodge for 3 nights, and it's an OK place, I probably would have given it 3 or 4 stars were it not for all the things that went wrong with our room. We had a family room, which has been refurbished, and which is rather nice and big. However, on the second day, we woke up...

I stayed at Morpeth Lodge for one night while up in Northumberland on Business. The hotel is a bit of a rabbit warren of fairly new build buildings and benefits from it's own car park at the back of the building. The owner was very friendly and helpful and I paid just £55 for a double room including breakfast. The...
