Bamburgh View is an excellent B & B run by a very friendly husband & wife team who live on the premises. The property has 3 double bedrooms - two on the ground floor and one on the upper level. The ground floor rooms have en-suite facilities, whilst the other room has its a separate but private bathroom. There is a... More

This inn only has 3 rooms and is on a quaint small street located near the center of town, close to all the restaurants, shops, and attractions. Our first floor room was ensuite and huge! There was even room for a couch. The rooms were comfortable and clean and our innkeepers were helpful and pleasant. They allowed us to leave... More

Easy to find & centrally located in town, nice & quiet with not much foot traffic going by. Room and ensuite were both very clean and nicely decorated with a beautiful view. Breakfast was made to order and delicious. Wifi was free and reliable. Glad I decided to stay on the island overnight after the crowds left, and this was... More

Stayed here after completing St Cuthbert's Way walk, wanting to enjoy Lindisfarne and not just rush off again. We arrived early and Jamie was there to welcome us in and continued to be helpful throughout our stay. We had the small groundfloor room, and it was small, but perfectly adequate for our stay. Although the shower room was small, it... More

Just home from a 3 night stay at Bamburgh View......Shall without a doubt return. Such a peaceful house run by Jamie and Carole. Breakfast was delicious and basically Jamie would cook whatever you felt like that morning. We stayed in the first floor bedroom, very comfortable with private bathroom boasting a sea view. Welcome tray full of wonderful goodies, good... More

I really enjoyed staying at Bamburgh View and to be honest the only thing stopping me giving 5 stars is the cost. I stayed at the end of completing the St Cuthberts Way and have therefore been able to make a comparison of 7 establishments along the route. Bamburgh View was the most expensive but not any better than some... More

When I go to a place like Lindisfarne Island (Holy Island) I like to stay overnight and see the place without all of the tourists. Bamburgh view is in a good location, go out the front door and turn left and soon you are at the Abbey ruins, go right and then right again and you are on the way... More

Stayed here for one night with my Mum and loved the place. Hosts Jamie and Carole were very personable and run an exceptionally clean B&B. From enquiring about availability to arriving on their doorstep, Carole and Jamie were fantastic. The rooms are very comfortable and everything is within easy walking distance. Will definitely recommend to friends and family who need... More

I had just completed an 18 mile walk on the St Cuthbert's way when I arrived at Bamburgh View, my broken body was given a warm reception by the very helpful and friendly owners. I was impressed by the quality of the room with ensuite bathroom and the breakfast the next morning. But it is the warmth of the hospitality... More

Travelled to Lindisfarne on a whim at short notice and thrilled that Bamburgh View was available (very lucky, as they were booked out for weeks either side). Views from the top bathroom were beautiful - I don't think I'll ever have a shower with a prettier outlook. It is within walking distance of everything you would wish to explore in... More
