Just back from a holiday staying in Puffin Cottage, Outchester and Ross Cottages. What a gem. This really was home from home. The cottage is one of others set around a courtyard. Very warm and cosy and very well equipped …. oh and a bed to die for! Such luxurious bedding and a really comfortable bed. The caretaker called shortly after we arrived with a very welcome bottle of wine and tea, coffee, milk and biscuits are provided for your first few drinks. TV in the lounge and the bedroom and a washer and dryer, iron and ironing board are all provided. Just one point - whilst it didn't bother us you do have to drive to the nearest restaurants if you wish to eat out, although the cottage was very well equipped for making your own meal complete with dishwasher and tablets.

Perfect for visiting the Northumbrian coast. This was our second visit to Outchester Cottages and we were delighted once again. Only a mile or so off the A1, in a quiet location not far from Bamburgh and its wonderful beaches. (Try not to get confused between the Outchester Cottages and the Ross Farm Cottages - they are quite separate locations.)

We stayed at Curlew Cottage in a secure, extremely well kept and attractive location. The cottage was everything we could have asked for - clean, comfortable, well- equipped and a pleasure to return to after a day out. With poor mobility I found it well laid out and the owner obligingly supplied a raised toilet seat on request. The caretaker dealt with a cistern problem promptly and was extremely helpful. I would return without hesitation.

These Cottages are a group of Cottages situated in a lovely rural location fairly close to Bamburgh. We stayed in Eider duck Cottage in early July and have been once before. Nothing has changed. The accommodation remains first class and cannot be faulted. The Cottage consists of a spacious lounge/diner and kitchen,a single bedroom, with bath and separate shower and toilet facilities. All rooms are finished to a high standard, are clean and tidy and well furnished. There is also ample parking on this secure site. A great place for exploring this part of Northumberland and good value for money.
