    A lovely experience. Staff were wonderful and the hotel was full of character. We sat in the sunny garden for an afternoon drink, had a wonderful evening meal. Then spent time in the bar where we met a group of walkers who kept us entertained!...More

    We did not experience cold,but the weather was not that cold when we were there. I am sure they will make sure it is warm enough if you feel chilly.

    LaLa1951 has answered exactly as I Would Another spot worth a visit is Amble marina. I am sur you will enjoy the people and places of northumberland.

    The superior room was more expensive. It was quite large and had a four poster bed, small table and an armchair. Big ensuing. However the condition of the room was far from superior.
