The hosts make you feel very welcome and ensure that you have everything for your stay. Budle Hall is in a lovely quiet location, yet is a short stroll from the beach. We visited during the week and seemed to have the whole of Budle Bay to ourselves! Recommend taking a walk along the beach to Bamburgh. The hall is...

Five stars right across the board. Excellent accommodation, hosts, breakfasts and open fires :) An ideal peaceful base for exploring Bamburgh and the surrounding attractions. Five minute walk to the beach and a 10 minute drive to Seahouses for boat trips out to the Farne Islands. Holy Island (visible across the bay from Budle Hall) is a 20-minute drive.

5 minutes from lovely sandy beaches. Owners live at Hall- they could not have been more welcoming and helpful (including offering to give us a lift to nearby restaurants). Room very large with lovely views.a very relaxing break.

When we arrived in Bamburgh, for an overnight stay, we were recommended to try availability at Budle Hall. Ralph was very accommodating on the phone but he left out the bit about 'mansion'!! We loved it!! It was grand but so welcoming. A cup of tea & shortbread on our arrival, also made us feel very welcome. Our room was...

Lovely 2 night stay in Blue room, replete with roll top bath. Sumptuous breakfast, lovely sitting room with wood burning stove. Liz looked after us very well and was very knowledgable about walks and local eateries. We have a 2 year old and nothing was too much trouble. Thoroughly recommend it for a stay in Bamburgh area.

Lovely warm welcome with tea and cake. Magnificent yet relaxing and comfortable rooms. Hosts share their lovely home and are attentive without being intrusive. The sitting room has a log fire and a selection of drinks with an honesty box if you fancy a tipple in the evening. Breakfasts are delicious and I can highly recommend the local Seahouse kippers....

Stayed for the weekend and were treated like royalty. There were 5 of us and nothing was too much trouble. We were very honoured to have been accepted into their very grand home in a very non judgemental manner. A very relaxing weekend in a beautiful part of the country. Next year's booking already made!

My husband and I stayed at budle hall for four nights in June. When we arrived we were offered tea and homemade cake which was lovely. The host, Ralph, told us a bit about the house and the area. We were informed that we needed to preorder cooked breakfast the day before, there was a lovely choice, toast and cereal...

We recently stayed for one night on our way back down south after our tour of Scotland. As soon as we arrived we knew we would regret only staying one night. The property and gardens are wonderful and we were given a very warm welcome. Delicious breakfast with options of (real) kippers, smoked salmon and "stacks of pancakes". Will stay...

We stayed for 3 nights in the Blue room as my wife wanted the massive bathroom! The bedroom was itself very large with superb views down to the sea and over the park like gardens. Breakfasts were of excellent quality and plentiful in choice and portions. Ralf was an excellent host (Celia was a little under the weather), we were...
