Victoria Hotel is right in the centre and parking is not a problem, we found a spot right outside the hotel. The staff were all very friendly, and helpful. Only down side if you have a lot of heavy luggage, and your room in not on the ground floor, there is no lift! We stayed one night and the evening... More

We stayed in room 16 and the room was warm and inviting. We had planned a photographic trip doing sun rise and sunsets and this was an ideal hotel not far from Bamburgh beach. We sat in residents lounge in evening and log fire was fantastic and really thawed us out after a sunset shoot on beach up the road.... More

After a bracing walk on the beach we got a warm welcome at the Vic for lunch. The lady at the bar greeted us in a very friendly way, allowed us to sample drinks before we bought them, took our order and served us at table. She's a tremendous asset! We had a burger, fish pie and bangers and mash... More

Great value Hotel with a fantastic setting, all if the staff where friendly and accommodating but particular mention to the late night bar man and girls at breakfast. (Nothing was a problem for them) The hotel could do with some updating but I'm sure this is reflected in the price and bizarrely adds to its appeal. We will return next... More

Hadn't been here for a while. We've always enjoyed our stays at the Vic. However this time things had improved. The staff whilst always friendly were definitely more on the ball. We had dinner in the bar area and despite the fact that there was a booking for 100 people in the restaurant we were served quickly. The biggest surprise... More

My wife and I stayed here for a long weekend break. The hotel maybe old but has a lot of charm and character. Room was bright and spacious with ensuite. Breakfast and dinner was adequate and waitress service was average. Parking was not a problem. Bamburgh is lovely and the shops, castle and beach are all within walking distance from... More

The Victoria Hotel gave us the perfect base to visit a number of attractions in and around the area. Our whole stay was perfect from the beginning, all members of staff were fabulous, knowledgeable of the area, restaurant and bar food was both excellent and the menu was extensive, nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff. Room... More

We booked two nights mid week in a superior dog friendly room. Having eaten in the hotel on previous trips we knew they welcome dogs and well behaved owners. We were pleasantly surprised with the size and facilities in the room. Alright it is an old building with a few creaking floor boards but give me a bit of character,a... More

We have just spent 4 days at this wonderful spot and Hotel. We arrived on Sunday a little early and found that our room was not quite ready. We were met with pleasantness and civility,as we had booked Sunday Lunch for a later time,we enquired if we could have our meal then. The restaurant staff took over and showed us... More

Staff welcoming and friendly, food fabulous... our only gripe was that our room was a little bit 'tired' needing tlc in the form of some redecoration - though to be fair, it still fulfilled our basic requirements. Not sure if it represented good value for money. All in all, a decent place to stay but to be honest we'd look... More
