Ashington was a very convenient place to explore Northumberland. Friendly, amenable staff ensured that our stay was typical of the Premier Inn experience. A clean, comfortable bedroom and a full English breakfast/continental breakfast will propel you through the main part of the day. A thoroughly enjoyable stay.

As a disabled guest, I experienced nothing but helpfulness and consideration. We booked, explaining I could not get into the bath so my delight at finding a disabled friendly room, on the ground floor, with a wet-room was great. The room was clean, quiet despite the fact it was overlooking the car park but it had views of the mere... More

Noisy from outside, make sure you take a credit/debit card to pay. And clean towels need to be asked for! Comfy rooms though clean bedrooms corridors need a really good Hoover some dust gathering around the skirting boards

We stayed at this Hotel from 25 - 30 August to attend a 70th Birthday Party at Creswick and spend some time with friends. The room was reasonably sized, clean and comfortable. We found this Hotel was value for money (86 pound per night) and was attached to a lovely country like restaurant/bar that provided good meals. On one side... More

Plenty of parking and a lovely site as the hotel is located on a country park. Close to a road but there is little traffic at night and it didn't bother us even with the window open. Very friendly and helpful staff, decent breakfast and a clean room with a great shower. Wi-Fi was poor though and I was led... More

Stayed 2 nights, usual Premier Inn facilities with the added north east hospitality. Nice setting by the lake and found it quiet even though it was full. Enjoyed he breakfast in the pub next door. would stay here again if close.

This was just a last minute booking over the bank holiday weekend, beautiful location right alongside a lake with lots of wildlife. Very peaceful, well would have been if they hadn't have put us right above the kids playground, got a bit annoying at times, lots of screaming children.so my tip is asked to be placed at the other end of hotel... Have stayed at this Premier Inn on a number of occasions. This time I was allocated Room 129 where the view from the window is the rubbish bins for the Kitchen. However the real problem was the noise of the extractor fan that lasted until 11.00.p.m. and then started up again at 5.45. a.m. It was so loud as to... More

The rooms are comfortable and clean. However, when trying to order our evening meal I was told that my wife's choice, chicken and ham pie, was not available. I returned to order her second choice only to be told that the fish pie was also not available. My third attempt to order, chicken and chips, was successful. I was told... More
