We stayed here for 1 night on a groupon deal. We stayed in room 213 which was at front on top floor. Room was lovely but bathroom very small with not a full size bath in. No central heating in room but storage heaters which were fine as room was lovely and warm. No heating in bathroom. Staff lovely and...

We stayed here for 1 night, the room (111) was very 'underwhelming' and tired (70's style teak) the curtains were stained and grubby and the divan base was also grubby. The bed was comfortable enough for me although my husband said he felt as if he would topple out! The bathroom could do with being re sealed around sink, bath...

We have eaten here on very many occasions and enjoy the ambiance of the hotel and its general atmosphere. It is situated right in the heart of town so easily located on foot from the car parks and town centre. Lunch is served in a bistro style dining room which is elegant. The menu is reasonably wide ranging but in...

What to say well you've outdone yourself and surpassed the promises you've made when previously not meeting any standards you profess to supply to customers. I have been Cumming here for years and years, ver regularly for work and family 7 and never had the good and service been so appalling. It used to be great, it's now about weddings...

Food and ale lovely. Atmosphere great with excellent service. Only one issue was the antiquated pipework. Second visit to Alnwick with great shops and tearooms. Barter books in station is brilliant. Great visit.

A big thank you to the staff at the White Swan. From the first contact with Valerie to book the venue, to the staff on the day I cannot fault the help and service received from the hotel. We had use of the Castle Suite for an Afternoon Tea Party, lovely room, great service and delicious cakes! Thanks again
