A warm welcome from Audrey marked the beginning of a short but brilliant stay at the Greycroft. Quality rooms, quality breakfast, quality hosts. Nothing was too much trouble and Audrey put us at ease, as if we were old friends. The only problem is that you eventually have to leave.

We spent 3 nights at Greycroft and the service from booking to leaving was fantastic. We were getting a late train to Alnmouth and Audrey agreed to wait up for us. She greeted us with a warm welcome and efficiently went through everything we needed to know. We had the single room (very generous for a single) and the Red Room....

We stayed at Greycroft as we had a wedding on Saturday. What a wonderful way to start the day, the best full English breakfast ever and we have stayed at many 4* hotels. The welcome was genuine, the room was lovely and very comfortable. Tea and coffee in the room with biscuits and sweets. Complimentary sherry, port in the lounge....

Audrey and Tom were friendly and helpful and we felt very comfortable and at ease straightaway. The rooms were well lovely and warm and supplies were kept topped up at all times. The location was brilliant and parking is...

There was nothing to fault at this lovely B&B. Admittedly we had the best room (the Yellow Room) in the house but everything was perfect and spotlessly clean. It is in a very good location with everything in Alnwick in walking distance. There was a great choice for breakfast, freshly prepared by Tom who would come out and ask if...

Greycroft sets standards many large, international hotels often fail to meet. Spotlessly clean, comfortable, quiet, fabulous breakfast included, complimentary tea and biscuits on arrival, complimentary sherry, fresh milk and water on the landing (help yourself), parking right outside. Best of all is Tom and Audrey's welcome which is warm and genuine. Cannot fault in any way - the absolute best...

A fabulous place, conveniently situated only a short walk from the centre of Alnwick. The welcome we received was warm and genuine. The accommodation is of a very high quality, spotlessly clean and with attention to detail. There is a guest lounge to relax in, along with complimentary drinks (and not forgetting the jelly beans! ). The guest house boasts...
