We stayed on day one of our cycling holiday. The room, facilities and breakfast were all excellent; we felt completely spoilt! great location too and best value the whole trip-we didn't want to leave!

Lovely hotel, staff were so attentive, I had the pleasure as a wedding guest but would definitely visit again. The room was a little pricey, but the room was lovely, we stayed in the Barnwell room with a huge bathroom, dressing table area and a really comfy well dressed bed. Cant wait to return!

We are happy you enjoyed your stay in our Barnwell Suite while visiting as part of a wedding party, and that you found it comfortable and well dressed. It is more expensive than our classic rooms as it does have some lovely features and little extra touches. Thank you for taking the time to write us a lovely positive review... More

Internet may not be an issue if you are traveling for pleasure; hotel should make it clear that it's completely unreliable for business travelers. Staff reply was that it's "temperamental". Rooms very hot, especially at top of building. Would not recommend in summer. Food was very good.

We stayed in the Oundle Suite here for a few nights around our wedding. The hotel is lovely, with outdoor seating and a lovely vibe on the warm summer evenings. The suite had plenty of room for the bride and bridesmaids to get ready on the day of the wedding. It certainly looked the part when the vintage cars arrived... More

For a quality hotel the setting once you're off the street is a nice surprise. The staff are kind and attentive. However the rooms could do with some form of ventilation aid - certainly for £149 a night I'd expect some form of air con. Water system seems to be all or nothing - first morning it was barely luke... More
