Please note this establishment is closed, booked a room over 2 weeks ago through Laterooms and only found out the day before when I called to confirm check in time, phones had been transferred to the accountants who informed me they had let Laterooms know the position! Received a request from Laterooms today for a review!!! Lol

I would like to say thank you to Jen and her team for making our company Christmas Party so special. Five star food (loved your home made pepper sauce), excellent service and cosy atmosphere has made us feel very welcomed. We were looked after from the minute we walked in... I've stayed at many places in the area wen on business but this is he only place I use now. It beats the chains hands down and the staff are much more personable, friendly and helpful. They all muck in to make the place work. Particular praise should be given to Taran, who checked us in, served drinks at the... More

The staff try really hard but they have had a series of temporary managers running the place for years under trying circumstances. A bit of a wedding & country disco production line. The day we visited to look it over for our wedding, sick and broken bottles hadn't been cleared up from the night before. told by one member of... More

We had my daughters wedding reception here on 26th May 2012. Many family members stayed in the hotel on Friday and Saturday night. The service was excellent, nothing was too much trouble. We booked a table in the restaurant for 18 people on the Friday evening, the service and food were excellent and very good value. We were allocated a... More

We stayed in this lovely country hotel as we attended a wedding in the marquee in the garden, we had a really super stay. The rooms were large, clean and area with spectacular views, the food was delicious and the staff, especially Aaron, couldn't have been more helpful. The children were well catered for, with smaller (but still generous) portions... More
