Well this hidden gem is a must if your out and about in Northamptonshire. I could quite happily eat here every night, as well as lunch time. I took my family for a walk around badby and as we had already tried the other pub in the village we thought we would give the maltsters a try. From the time...

The food was of very high quality, but sadly the meal had gone cold by the time the vegetables were dished up. Recommend the Game Casserole, it was very tasty. Score let down by the lack of staff.

Continuing our trip around Northamptonshire trying various pub lunches, we visited The Malsters Inn at Badby on a drab, cold wet day. Our welcome from the lass behind the bar was warm and cheery , and the glowing open fire in the bar area was very much appreciated. After we had taken a table close to the fire, and with...

Spent an enjoyable evening here with a group of friends, good service and a menu that was a bit different. Our only comment would be, we were put in the restaurant as not room in the bar area - this was a bit lonely as no one else was using it. Would like to be sat some where different another...

On those days that you feel low and need a treat I often visit alone or with friends the Maltsters for lunch. I hate pub food as its usually microwaved and often has little reguard for presentation. If i'm paying i want to eat something thats pleasing to the eye as well as my tummy. The Maltsters lunch time menu...

after reading such positive reviews, i have one question- did we go to the right pub? right from the start our special night out was a disaster, food was incredibly expensive and very average, service was poor, surroundings needed a good clean and staff were so busy we felt we were a hindrence, all we can say is never again!!

Well what can i say!! The pub itself was lovely, the staff were very well manered and extremley helpful. They made the whole family feel welcome from the second we stepped in the front door! As we are a family that loves our food (especially desserts) we were definitely not disappointed. From starter to desert the whole meal was delicious...
