Easily the most hospitable Inn that I have ever stayed in. Room was simply furnished but bright, airy and clean. Bar food was excellent as was the locally brewed draught beer. A return taxi journey to the wedding venue was organised without me even lifting a finger. Very helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

I was looking for somewhere local to go and found this place on Trip Advisor. The atmosphere in the pub when we arrived was really nice. It is a small local pub, and these can sometimes be a bit intimidating if only filled with locals, but not here - there was a busy, bustling atmosphere that felt really friendly. Despite... More

On a recommendation we stayed here overnight with two rooms. From the moment we walked in we were treated so well. Shown to our rooms straight away which were modern and spacious. We settled into the pub for dinner and had wonderful food and hospitality and the staff rallied around us with 1st class service. The dinner offering was delicious... More

Stayed 7June . First time visit ,room was clean and ok, but quite small. The bed was comfortable and bathroom spacious. The noise of the shower pumping was very loud which I feel seems a great shame and could hear next room's shower as well. Evening meal again ok nothing special had curry bit disappointed. Ordered pudding and wrong pudding... More

We stayed at the Windmill inn as we were attending a wedding at Fawsley Hall . Perfect location for us as only a few minutes drive away . All staff very friendly. We stayed in the Fawsley room. Very basic bedroom but did the job. We only needed somewhere to sleep. Wifi connection very poor. Breakfast was ok. Overall I... More

Just back from the Crick boat show and fancied a lovely pub grub type evening. Asked our hostess and she recommended the Windmill. Well, food gorgeous, beer wonderful and service French...actually that's the waiter but extremely good. The whole British country real ale, real food, real people but hush...don't tell everyone because Badby deserves to be kept secret. Charming and... More

Took my mum out for a belated mothers day lunch. There was one lady running the whole place by herself (plus a chef). But she managed and we had a very tasty lunch. Delicious Steak and Ale pie and great scampi and chips. Only negative was that the pie wasn't very hot.. but it tasted amazing! Will go back again.... More

We visited this pub on the advice of The Clock Tower Guest House. When we arrived we saw that the main restaurant was full and the helpful barman advised us that it was a coach party but not to worry as they were just starting their main course. We were shown to a smaller room wher our order arrived with... More
