We visited The Punch Bowl Inn with friends for a 50th birthday celebration. Our room...room 6 was excellent, clean, with a large bathroom and bathtub. The linens were crisp and white on a large comfortable double bed. With tea making facilities in the room...what more could we ask for? A large bar downstairs with local beers...a roaring fire and friendly staff. Would...

The staff are excellent. They are welcoming, friendly, helpful and make the stay a delight. The views from our very comfortable room were wonderful and we had an excellent dinner and breakfast. There are good walks and lovely Reeth is not far away where there are a few shops and it's lovely village green. The bedroom was spacious with a...

A beautiful 17th century coaching inn forms the base for this very comfortable gastropub. We had the DB&B option for two nights while touring the Dales. Accommodation is on the two floors above the bar and dining rooms, with a guest sitting lounge on the top floor. Meal options are written up on the mirror in the bar, and the...

Excellent short stay in a lovely surroundings. The staff, food and drinks were all excellent. The room we had was very nicely decorated and a comfortable bed. The bathroom didn’t have a bath but it had a very good powerful shower which is what we wanted. The farmhouse seats in the dining room were a bit hard on your bottom...

We enjoyed a fabulous 3 day DB&B package here in late-October....and the weather couldn't have been kinder. Our room had views out to three directions and those views were often stunning, whether in sunshine or cloud, at sunrise or sunset. The food was exceptional and ran from a Queen Scallop and Chorizo Sweetcorn Chowder Starter through succulent braised lamb shank,...

We had two rooms for two nights on a DB&B basis which was a good option as the location is quite remote and finding a nearby dining option as good as The Punch Bowl would have been difficult. The rooms are tastefully decorated and spacious with tea, coffee, biccies, nice toiletries, a choice of bath or shower and best of...

Stayed here for our anniversary in September 2016. The hotel is situated in the most beautiful part of England, with stunning views. It's a sort of pub/restaurant/inn. Our room was gorgeous. Very spacious, super clean, nice bathroom - just very classy but cosy at the same time. Staff were great, really friendly and menu selection was superb. Clearly a lot...

Arrived on steak night which put me in a quandary straight away; too much choice for an indecisive diner such as I! Pigeon stater was delicious and pork belly to follow. Friendly, efficient staff made for an enjoyable evening.
