Seemed a lot quieter than last time visited in 2012 and not as many of the coast to coast walkers in. We had a nice couple of pints of Wainwight to celebrate though and a nice round of tuna, ham and cheese sandwiches out on the balcony overlooking the sea

My wife and I had beef lasagne, chips and salad for lunch at over ten pounds each. Served quite quickly. Lasagne was bland and (whilst recognising that lasagne is a moist dish) it was overall lacking in texture. The chips were warm but lacked any crispness giving the appearance that chips might do if they had been reheated. Not asked... More

On our trip to Filey, we decided to revisit Robin Hoods Bay. Parking at the top of the hill and then enjoy that walk down the steep hill to the seaside. Luckily right by the beach you'll find this old Pub/Hotel. A good selection of Ales were available, and as Bev was the chosen driver of the day, I was... More

My husband and I have just returned from an anniversary trip to the coast. We had a lovely walk and worked up big appetites which were satisfied by the delicious meals we ate at The Bay Hotel. Ian had cod and chips and I had the sea bass with new potatoes and salad. Both meals were exceptionally flavoursome, good portions and... More

Went to Robin hoods bay with the family and we decided to eat at the bay hotel!! The barman was very friendly and went through the choices on offer. The lunch menu was limited and over priced!! Over £5 for a pathetic looking panini. We ordered a children's pizza which again was over priced!! We heard the microwave ping and... More

We visited twice, firstly for dinner for the whole family, everything with chips. And the second time seating by the real open fire for beers and card games. Hubby says beer is great, good choice. I enjoyed The comfy bonket seating with a sea views.

Stayed here for a winter break and was well worth it. Booked over the phone and spoke to a very friendly gentleman and went for room 2 of the 3 available rooms. After a picnic stop to beck hole we drove down and left our bags and then drove back up and parked the car. The room was small but... More

Good Pub Grub overlooking the North Sea. A bit rough and ready but received a good Yorkshire welcome. Whisky selection could do with a review and very stingy on the measures! Meal quality and quantity excellent abd served in good time
