Been here twice in May and twice in June.Cannot comment on the accomodation but it looks just fine. The Resteraunt in my view is first class and not really expensive. The meals are perfect.Dont have much to eat anywhere else or you will not eat these meals. The fish and chips is fantastic and the steak pie is beautiful(if you can eat it... This was our 3 red choice in town when the others weren't open on the Monday we were in town. The menu was pretty stale but nothing that compared with the quality of the food. The Grosvenor special burger was special in all the wrong ways. Tasteless beef patty, tough bacon, stale cold bun, chips were ghastly - cold, undercooked... More

I enjoyed my 2 nights here, room 9 was very quiet, clean and comfortable. We stayed with others who also had no complaints either. We didn't eat here but did spend a bit of time in the bar. Beer selection wasn't fantastic but had a selection of lagers and soft drinks. Breakfast was very good.

I was in the area in holiday and I popped into The Grosvenor for a meal and I must say it was incredible the biggest fish I had ever seen and tasted amazing in fact I couldn't eat it all. The bar staff and locals were very friendly and chatted and I felt very welcome and left feel happy and... More

Excellent food and lots of it, the steak pie was packed full of meat and the veg and chips with it were very tasty. The plates was hot which is always good sign of an establishment that cares about how it presents its food. A good children's menu is available too. Would definitely go again.

We went here basically because of proximity to Fylingthorpe, where we were staying, but the menu is surprisingly diverse with a nice selection of traditional pub fare and seafood specials that complement the locale. My partner and I had crab sandwiches which were quite nice and very reasonably priced. We shared a massive portion of onion rings that were totally... More

Booked for two nights. On arrival was told where our room was. In the room cups from previous guests had not even been cleaned, pubic hair left in bath. We were not told beforehand that we were above kitchen, constant noise till about 11.00 and constant smell of oil cooking. Woman behind bar who greeted us found it very difficult... More

Really enjoyed our stay here, we paid just under £50 per night for bed and breakfast so it's reasonably priced and ate here a couple of times because the breakfast was so good. Really enjoyed our Sunday Dinner and the 2 courses for £10 comes highly recommended. Our room was small but functional and most importantly clean. The room was... More
