I must have walked past this pub dozens of times over the years on our trips into Richmond to walk our dog along the river, a few days ago we ventured inside as we noticed the "dogs welcome" sign outside. We sat at the far end of the pub as there was more room, especially as we had our golden...

We decided to stay here for our Anniversary trip after staying elsewhere in Richmond over the past few years. We are so glad we did - everyone was very welcoming - both staff and owners. The breakfast was lovely and we were planning our next visit even before we checked out.

First weekend in November, when the weather turned, and after a bracing walk in the rain down by the river, we saw the Sunday lunch advertised and couldn't resist. On walking through the front door was a gorgeous roaring fire. 2 drinks later, 2 Sunday lunches ordered all for £15. The food arrived soon enough by a lovely waitress, who...

Warm welcome from friendly staff, open fire in pub lounge, clean, comfortable, warm room, and good food (particularly breakfast) & beer. What more could you want from a market ton hotel? Nothing too much trouble. My wife is on a gluten free diet. At almost no notice she was served a gluten free full english which she declared "the best...

Room was large and light, airey and the central heating was instantaneous even though it was radiators. Food was really good and the...

Booked one night stopover for B/B , arrived 5.30pm and given a parking disc, then sunday parking is free. Our room was Stumpy Cross, and was pleasantly surprised with the room very clean and roomy and plenty of tea/coffee facilities. We checked out Richmond to find an eatery, and found The Rustique French restaurant which did an early bird menu...

We stayed here for one night in a lovely newly refurbished king-size room. It was clean and modern with a comfortable bed. The staff were welcoming on our arrival. The breakfast was good which you pre-order the previous day. Would definitely stay here again.
