We stayed here last night. Usually it takes me a few days or even a few weeks to write a review. This was so special so divine I was literally writing my review getting in the car. This is as close to perfection you will ever get. Where to start......well friendly greeting in quite gated gravel driveway. Cases lifted out...

We stayed here to celebrate our wedding anniversary and what a wonderful stay it was! The 4 poster bed was fantastic and the breakfast was amazing. Our hosts made us feel very welcome, we received coffee and cake in the open fired drawing room on our arrival and a good recommendation of places to eat. The room was exceptionally comfortable...

Absolutely gorgeous place, attention to detail was fab, loved the little touchs, fresh fruit, fresh milk for your drinks, bottled water, chocolates and biscuits. Owners were lovely, very welcoming and friendly. On arrival we were invited down for a cuppa and cake, we were served 3 pieces of cake each, all were scrumptious. The B&b is in a great location,...

I frequently work away from home and have stayed in numerous hotels around the country but none can ever compare with the service and style of the Porch House. It is simply perfect. Christine, Charles and Penny, are perfect hosts and wonderful company. Due to work commitments over the last 12 months I have been a frequent visitor to The...

The porch house is everything you want from a b&b and more. Warm welcome with coffee and a selection of cakes on arrival. Chocolates and fruit in the beautifully decorated bedroom. Top notch. Breakfast plentiful. Hosts friendly and nothing too much trouble for them. FABULOUS. Will definitely go back

Great Little boutique hotel right in the centre of Northallerton. Comfortable room 4 poster bed with ensuite. Parking at rear. Charles and Christine perfect hosts. Cooked breakfast was perfect. Great place to explore local area and moors. Historic house dating back to 1500s. Royalty stayed there in 1600. Highly recommended. Peter and Robin

My sister and I need to thank Christine and Charles for what must be the most welcoming, luxurious, fun and restful stay in England/North Yorkshire any American visitor could even imagine. Way beyond the call of duty, our hosts provided us with a grand tour of Wensleydale and Swaledsle, elegant breakfasts, out of this world snacking treats and flowers for...

A lovely much needed night away for me and my husband. Greeted with tea, coffee and cake in front of the open fire. Very relaxing especially since the weather outside was cold and wet. The room had all we needed, clean, nicely decorated, warm, comfy bed, and finished off with lovely touches, bottles of water, fruit and chocolates along with...

We stayed here last night, as we was up from London visiting friends. We thought it was absolutely beautiful here, the owners are fantastic, friendly, chatty and extremely helpful.
