We booked a couple of nights here at the last minute and was very pleasantly surprised. The room was lovely - very clean and spacious with a nice en suite and free WiFi. There was even a fan supplied in case we got too hot! There is plenty of free parking and the location is beautiful with great views over...

Average frozen food. Overpriced. Ridiculously slow service - even for coffees at the end. Not helped by a cackling, drunk party. Not what a family in 2016 would be looking for. Nice beer to be fair. Avoid.

Stayed for one night in a family room. I had read reviews and was expecting the floor boards to be creaky and they really were which made it really difficult when we had put the baby to bed. The walls are so thin between the rooms that we were woken at 5:45am by children thundering up and down the room...

We are currently staying at the lodge. Charming beamed place with a very spacious and spotless bathroom. We are in room 2 with beautiful old beams. Lovely view from the terrace which has a gorgeous view for enjoying the sunshine. Staff are friendly and helpful.

We stayed here whilst away with work and overall it was better than average. I've always liked this place for food, mainly for the surroundings with nice beer garden and traditional feeling inside. I struggled finding something really healthy on the menu and wasn't keen on the frozen chips but the prices weren't bad. The room we had was hot...

Trip was booked by my girlfriend as a suprise. It was one of the best places i have stayed. Staff were very welcoming but sometimes abit slow with service. The food was very nice. We ate in the restaurant both nights. Food prices wernt all that expensive. Our room was very clean and well decorated with a modern yet rustic...

Great base for visiting Harrogate & the surrounding area. Very spacious on-suite room, very quiet. The property has lots of character/history. Although the room we had was above the pub we didn't hear a thing! Slept really well! We had an evening meal- a roast- the Yorkshire puds were to die for! The whole meal was superb. Continental breakfast included...

Great looking and attached to a really nice pub/restaurant but the rooms let it down. Stayed 2 nights - room faced the main road - a little road noise as the window wouldn't shut into the frame but the secondary double glazing helped. The room was nice, a few cobwebs on the beams, but was modern and clean. The bed...

Having booked online I was looking forward to a nice pub meal after a long walk. However once we received the menus covered in food we lost confidence. This was justified as the starter bread plate was stale and clearly from the freezer resembling nothing like warm rustic bread as on the menu. Main course was even worse. Frozen chips...

Very easily accessible, just off a main road. Pay for your accommodation at check in rather than check out. We stayed in the family room, which was very nice, double bed and sofa bed in which we all slept well. The proximity to the main road was certainly not a problem for us in this room. We hadn't planned to...
