My friend and I stayed at the Old Royal Oak Hotel for two nights. We were delighted with the friendliness of all staff. Our room was beautiful, everything we could possibly have wanted was provided. Our breakfasts were first class and we enjoyed them very much.

What a lovely little gem we found, right in the heart of the town, the rooms are separate from the actual pub, which is a great bonus, we stayed in one of the double on-suite rooms number 1 which was very spacious, and a full size walk in shower. Parking was right outside the window. Breakfast was average, but the...

Arriving at the Royal Oak right from the start, the staff were fabulous, they couldn't do enough for us. We wasn't supposed to be allowed into the room until 2pm but we arrived around 12.30pm and they said that the room was available immediately for us to check inn. This was fantastic because we had a ten year old with...
