It's so good in here that we missed 3 trains in a row giving us a great excuse to try even more of their guest beers. Dog friendly place with a good menu with what looked like tasty food.they also do love music nights we are looking forward to going back

We visited for a late lunch after a cold walk around knaresborough. There were five of us in our group and most of us went for a deal on two courses for £12. The staff were very friendly and efficient, happy to accommodate all our requests (including one of my friends asking for extra gravy, twice!) good choice of beers...

Lovely food, comfy bed, friendly team, would definitely recommend and will be back, thankyou. The breakfast was one of the best, they use local farm produce. Excellent location right next to station. Loved it here!

Comfortable room, good clean facilities, shower and selection of bathroom products, with interesting view over the station. Friendly helpful staff with suggestions where to go etc. Super breakfast on the two mornings, good quality selection and nicely cooked, friendly, chatty, morning staff and chefs. Didn't eat here in the evening this time, (but had a few nice pints) as had...

Terrible service from staff made me leave and cancelling order. Such a shame but poor service is inexcusable. Great location but that is about the only reason to visit. Parking is a real issue but rail station adjacent.

Stayed here for one night, the room was clean, spacious and nicely appointed with a boutique style shower room. Has good wifi. Wide choice of breakfast items. Location was tricky to find in a cul de sac by the station and parking was on street but the hotel had done everything possible to make it easy for their guests with...

Ate lunch here. The food was good. You pay at the bar when you order at the counter. The steak and ale was very good. My friends gammon was good. What was outstanding was the service of allowing us to park our big suitcases that we brought from Harrogate on way to York. We stopped at the station on the...

We spent two nights here at the end of October and were so impressed with the Mitre both as a hotel and pub. Room 1 was spacious, well equipped and fitted out to a high standard. The bathroom was large with an excellent shower. Lots of thoughtful extras throughout, including an iron & ironing board in the wardrobe. We had...

We took Sunday lunch with our children and grandchildren and were not disappointed. We enjoyed a real British roast dinner with all the trimmings followed by delicious deserts all served by a delightful hostess.
