Rooms are in keeping with the period of the house and the food is freshly cooked to order - with a really good cooked breakfast included in the price. The staff are very friendly and helpful and make it a pleasant trip. The entrance to the hotel is not easily seen so don't drive past! It has a small car... More

Worst nights sleep ever. 1st I've stayed here. Hotel was recommended by other work colleagues who have used before. Whole place looks tired as did I the next morning. 4 poster bedroom at rear overlooking the church and their noisy bells. On the hour, and 15, 30 & 45 minutes they rang. On a lighter note, evening meal was very... More

Stayed for the weekend with my husband & son in a suite. The standard of accommodation was absolutely superb. The only fault was that the bed in the main bedroom was much too soft - no support. Other than that it was faultless. Breakfasts were superb & we ate there one evening which was also very good. We hope to... More

An enjoyable 2 night stay when visiting Flamborough Head and Bempton cliffs which are only a short drive away. The hotel is a former rectory decorated in traditional style, with off road parking. I stayed in a first floor room in one of two converted barns which had recently been redecorated. It should be noted the upper floor is accessed... More

My husband and I spent a weekend here in june and loved it. Great location for days out at Flamborough Head, Filey, Robin Hood Bay and my personal Favourite Falling Foss. Owners and family couldn't be more helpful. Food was excellent will definately be back.

Recently stayed here for two nights booked as a last minute escape. We were given a room in the coach house which was very large and comfortable. The room looked recently decorated, the bed was comfortable with good quality fresh smelling bedding and likewise with the fluffy white towels. The bathroom was dated and in need of a good bleaching... More

Took my 85 year old mother for a two-night stay at Wrangham House in early April. Attractive rustic red brick Georgian house, we had two large double rooms in the coach house. Very friendly welcome from Stacie, the proprietor, and thoroughly enjoyed two beautiful dinners in the restaurant. Peter, Stacie's husband and chef, did us proud with excellent food and... More

Visited the hotel for my retirement meal for 35 guests and we had all ordered beforehand as the group was so large. The food was excellent and plentiful and the service by the young staff was great. All the tables were served fully in turn and the food was piping hot. The young waiting staff were very attentive and courteous... More

We had a 2 night stay here and stayed in a courtyard room. It was a very comfortable and clean room. Breakfast was great and my gluten intolerance was well catered for. The hotel is well situated close to the coast and Hunmanby Gap beach was great for walking our dog. Would recommend this hotel.

I stayed at this gem of a hotel with my 11 year old daughter, a well located halfway stop on our journey from mid England to Scotland. We arrived tired but were immediately revived with a very warm welcome and the offer of tea and homemade cakes! The hotel oozes charm, our en-suite room was spotlessly clean and spacious with...
