All staff very friendly and could not be more helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. We enjoyed our drinks around the open log fire. Dinner in restaurant was excellent, breakfast was also one of the best we have had at any hotel. All said and done would recommend this hotel for a wonderful stay. Look forward to coming back sometime...

Just returned from three days at this hotel booked with secret escapes. It has been mentioned before about room locations. The deal put us in the mallard room up in the attic. The bed was very hard we had to get an extra quilt as we had to lay on the one provided. Too much furniture in such a small...

We received a warm welcome when we arrived and told we had been upgraded to the Bridal Suite. And so we were four - poster bed included. (My wife thought it was about time that she got to stay in the bridal suite after 44 years married). Lovely view from the window of the garden and lake. We had a...

There is no lift here and no one offered to carry our luggage up for us. We managed, even though my husband had just had a hip replacement .The room...

We booked an amazing one night deal with Secret Escapes which included a cream tea and 2 course evening meal. The hotel is in a fantastic location with so many places of interest within nearby driving distance. A must is the sunset at Saltburn by the Sea, beautiful. On arriving at the hotel and being shown to our room we...

If you are looking to chill out and unwind in a fantastic old building full of character, then this is the perfect place. Visited with friends between Christmas and New Year and from the moment we drove along the winding driveway through beautiful wooded gardens, you could not be anything other than impressed! The hotel is warm with a welcoming...

My wife and I were gifted a Red Letter Day "champagne afternoon tea" and we chose Grinkle Park for the experience. We arrived at our selected time and were immediately impressed by the warm and friendly greeting at reception, which continued with the other 3 staff who attended to us. We were very impressed with the public rooms and the...

Stayed just one night on a Secret Escapes deal and loved it. The room was spacious and attractively decorated. The lounge and bar areas were extremely welcoming with a real fire. Every member of staff was friendly, helpful and professional and went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed for a pleasant, relaxing stay. The food...
