My friend and I stayed at the traddock for a long weekend. A lovely hotel. Warm and friendly greeting when we arrived, we were show all the hotel facilities and then our rooms which were beautifully decorated, a little tired in places, but this just adds to the cosy and warm atmosphere. We had dinner on the two nights. Good... More

We stayed for 2 nights - dinner included in the rate - which proved to be excellent value as the meals are prepared and served to a very high standard. We took Room 9 - the newly finished suite (separate seating and sleeping areas) in the loft - and highly recommended albeit accessed via 3 separate flights of stairs. The... More

We were welcomed warmly by the receptionist who took great care to show us the lounges and our room and explained the way they worked. We found the staff very pleasant, accommodating and obviously well trained. The bedroom we stayed in was welcoming with water, fruit and biscuits all available. The toiletries were of high quality. Only one small criticism... More

This is a lovely hotel with beautiful, clean rooms and a restaurant serving great food. The setting in the quiet village of Austwick is quiet and close enough to walk from the hotel up to the top of Ingleborough. The staff are polite and attentive and we enjoyed our stay immensely.

We really loved this hotel. It is a beautiful country house hotel with the nicest hotel rooms I've ever stayed in. Gorgeous big squashy beds, homemade biscuits, complementary fruit and molten brown toiletries. Staff were excellent and the whole place is very dog friendly. We had dinner in the restaurant twice and were able to leave the dog in the... More

This is the second time we have stayed in this hotel and it was just as good as the first time, The food is always the best with fresh fruit at breakfast with candles. The hotel is old but has modern ideas on service, just great.

We stayed here (in room 3) with friends for two nights and a had a very pleasant stay. The room was large and comfortable, with a closet and large chest of drawers. The bed was a bit soft for my taste but very comfortable, with good quality pillows. The bedside tables are a bit small but just about OK. There... More

We booked the newest room at the top of the hotel (not recommended for the infirm. On arrival, the owner? congratulated us, had a chat and invited us down for a complimentary glass of bubbly. The lady on reception showed us around and took us to the room and explained everything. A good decision as its all run from an... More

Our room was comfortable, well appointed and contained everything you need. A good range of toiletries and an excellent shower. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and the restaurant staff were especially good. The food was delicious, well cooked and a good choice. The public areas of the hotel include three lounges, one of which opens onto the well... More
