We were having a short 2 day break in the Yorkshire Dales and we were booked in The Traddock Hotel and Restaraunt for one night for dinner, bed and breakfast and stayed in room 3. This is the original master room of the house and quite spacious and very tastefully decorated. Dinner was excellent and staff extremely pleasant and helpful.... More

A two day stay at this hotel was a comfortable interlude during summer, from the moment we arrived the staff tried their best to look after us, our bags were taken to our room before we had even checked in. The hotel itself has some nice "country house" lounge areas one of which opens to a terrace and the gardens,... More

My husband and I booked the new attic room 9 for our wedding anniversary 16/8. Having held our wedding reception here in 2012 Austwick and the Traddock are very special places to us. The beautiful Georgian hotel is in a perfect tranquil setting and has beautiful gardens which you can sit out in on a sunny day.We have stayed in... More

Only once you're within the grounds of this property can you fully appreciate its merit as the only positive it lacks is serious curb appeal (holiday camp signage and unique building design). Within its boundary walls though, a pretty garden and many charms await. The interior is very peaceful, conservative, and nicely laid out to provide guests with plenty of... More

My wife and I stayed at the Traddock for a couple of nights. We took the dinner, bed and breakfast option and we stayed in Room 9. The room was lovely, the food on both nights was excellent. We had some great wine including a really nice Rioja. The staff could not be more helpful and the village is beautiful.... More

I stayed several nights at this hotel during a visit to the Dales. The en suite rooms are elegant and updated with modern amenities while retaining the charm of the old building that comprises the hotel. A magnificent cooked to order breakfast was included and we also had dinner in the hotel several evenings. All food was wonderful and the... More

Four companions visiting the Yorkshire Dales from Australia. Found the hotel on Sawdays and we weren't disappointed. Small friendly village and a large friendly welcome from The Traddock. Inn has a small bar which according to male number one had the best Theakstons he'd tasted. The lounge is large and very comfortable and welcoming which we took advantage of before... More

Me, my husband and our dog went to the Traddock for a weekend away. It was our 1st hotel holiday with our dog (we normally do apartments) and I was really surprised how fantastic the place was and how accommodating the staff were. They went out of their way to make sure everything was as smooth and enjoyable as possible... More

Stayed here for one night with my husband recently on a dinner, bed and breakfast deal. It's in a lovely setting. We did a lovely walk to Feizor and back from the hotel door. Although it is undoubtedly a lovely place, I'd say I was more impressed with the restaurant than the room. The room was still very nice. We... More

Just back from a delightful short break in the Yorkshire dales and from a hotel that would be hard to beat in this location. Convenient for the south dales (three peaks walk, Settle & Malham) the Traddock hotel offers reasonably priced rooms with an excellent breakfast (make sure you try the homemade yoghurt). The staff couldn't have been more helpful... More
