Perfect Guest House, Central but Quiet to Town, if I'm in the Area again, I will Stay here with No Problem.... I came to Scunthorpe by Train which is about 15 minutes walk but had no problem with that (I see from a previous revue that the Owner picked someone up from the Station) Which I thought was Great offer....

Barry is really kind (he came to pick up to the station) and the place is nice, central, pleasant and the rooms are perfect. We were there for a short wedding weekend and our planning was not so "standard" but Barry and Sandra found a solution for everything (early breakfast, payment leaved in the room, taxi numbers...) Do not hesitate!!

I had a lovely stay at the Cosgrove guesthouse. The rooms are always clean and tidy, coffee and tea making facilities Witch are topped up daily, DVD TV in all the room's and the room's were always made up and cleaned when I came back from work. Breakfast was served every morning in a lovely well presented dining area. There... More

This was my second visit to the Cosgrove, check in was a little confusing as it was in the gym / sun tanning salon across the road, they didn't have a card machine so before I could check in I had to head to a cashpoint, however. I suppose these things happen. The room was an en suite twin, front... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here for one night as we were going to a wedding locally, and we were generally very impressed. The room was very comfortable, the bed was big and comfy, and the breakfast was delicious. And it was good value to boot, at £48 per night. The only slight down side was that the room was... More

The Cosgrove B&B is situated in an undesirable location in Scunthorpe....which is the Downtown area. The owner, Barry, I found to be a very warm and friendly man...which makes it harder to write a less than stellar review....but that I must. As a woman traveling alone, I would definitely NOT recommend this accommodation. I had booked in for 7 nights... More

I stayed in the guest house for almost a full month, and during all the time the owners and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The en-suite room was really nice, very comfortable, quiet and always clean. Of course we can't forget the delicious breakfast, where you have a list to choose what you prefer to eat! I really... stayed at the Cosgrove Guest House for 4 nights while working in Scunthorpe. Barry the owner was friendly and welcoming. I stayed in a single standard room, it was very clean and warm and only £25 a night and the breakfast was lovely.

We couldn't stay in our usual Hotel and needed an alternative venue for a weekend stay. We were born in the town but no longer live there, we had seen the Cosgrove before, found availability and gave it a go. We had a twin room facing the front of the building on the first floor. It was spacious, well organised... More
