So I have just been blown away by the sausage and egg sandwich served in this place. A solitary chipolata and an egg served in bread. I have attached a picture of the pathetic display of food. When she brought the sandwich out, I did ask what it was supposed to be, to which she chuckled and said it is... More

Great little hotel. Very clean, comfortable and affordable. Ideal location for visiting Bourne and surrounding areas. Car parking was easy and staff are all vert friendly. Plenty of pubs and restaurants to choose from within walking distance.

The public areas were quite smart but the bar doubled as the reception desk which was unusual. Very helpful and friendly staff. It was obvious that an effort had been made to make the 'superior double room' fresh and modern but, although large, it was bland with an assortment of furniture some of which need repair. Quite noisy at the... More

Very freindly helpful staff Nice quality breakfast. The room was very clean and had obviously recently been decorated. The hotel is right in the middle of town so a short walk to all the pubs etc Good free WIFI available

This is a charming period hotel, which has had a very nice refurbishment recently. The decoration in our room was modern, stylish and lovely. It really is a lovely update on a period hotel with lots of charm. The staff were friendly & helpful. But, it lets itself down. The shower in our room was weak, better than a dribble... More

I stayed in this hotel and have to say the constant noise from the plumbing in room 11 lead to a sleepless night. There also seems to be an industrial fridge below the room that starts up at random times. There is no car park. It's cheap for a reason. Well actually not that cheap. There are better hotels locally.

Very reasonably priced hotel in comparison to other hotels that are bumping their prices up for the weekend of the a Burghley Horse Trials. We had a nice stay - staff were attentive and friendly and breakfast was lovely. We were staying in the executive room which is on the road side of the hotel, traffic noise was not to... More

We had our wedding reception here and had the bridal suit for the night. It was amazing, everything we could ever dream of was looked after, if we needed anything it was done. The bedroom was massive, very comfortable bed, beautifully decorated, amazing stand alone bath. And after a heavy wedding night of drinking and dancing, to wake up to... More

Stayed here for two nights for a wedding, they did the reception , there's lots wrong with the place, but, I don't wanna dwell on dull things like waiting ten minutes for water to heat up or no water pressure , best breakfast ever, the feel of the place, the staff are amazing , decent beds and apart from the... Popped into the Angel Hotel for a quick bite to eat. I believe the cafe inside is called the Bean Bag. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, ensuring we enjoyed our visit. The interior isn't anything special but clean with plenty of room. I decided to try the jacket potato with cheese & beans and It was delicious. My... More
