Friendly staff especially Caroline who was always cheerful. Room was adequate. It was clean but a little small. Could have done with maybe one chair so could have somewhere to sit while putting on shoes. Had dinner on the Friday night with 4 friends joining us. The menu was a little uninspiring. The food was ok but nothing to get... More

I liked this pub very much. A good point and good pub grub, you cannot go wrong. Its a little off the beaten track, but that is a good thing. I was in room 9, which has a good view over the car park to the fields. The big downer however, was the abysmal showers. Scalding hot one moment, freezing... More

We had a lovely meal there. Food was really good. Very clean, service was good. Lovely outside garden and play area for children. We would definitely go again and would also recommend it as place to go for a meal. The only improvement is with the menue it would be nice to have a couple of proper vegetarian /vegan dishes. Other... More

The bar staff were very polite and tried there best to resolve the noise issues ! Maybe the snotty manager should... More

We recently stayed here for the first time whilst visiting relatives nearby. On arrival we were greeted by very friendly and helpful staff. The room we were staying in was small and the bathroom was compact, but it was clean and had everything that we needed for an overnight stay. The bed was comfortable although a little small but only because it... We camped here for two nights. Its a large field out the back of the pub (which is set in an idllyic village. It was £5 per night and you can use the pubs facilities when open. Which is all we needed. They were helpful and the food is lovely..... We are staying in the rooms this year so will... More

We stayed over the Easter bank holiday weekend and found that the room we were given was tiny. You could just about walk round the bed which was extremely uncomfortable and small. The en suite had a cloakroom sink in and the shower was so poor I gave up trying to shower and waited till I got to my nieces... More

Had a really good steak dinner here. Very reasonably priced, nice staff, sweet building was easy to relax and chill out. Would definitely return, hopefully sooner rather than later. Thanks for the great time.
