For some time now I had received a number of positive comments from friend and colleagues regarding Kilworth House. When I was asked if I would like to go to a Rat Pack event at the hotel I didnt need much persuading. From the moment we arrived I knew instinctively that this was going to be an excellent night. Before... More

We took my elderly parents to the Orangery for a pre-Christmas lunch and have to say it was really very good. The place was busy and the staff were clearly working at capacity but were attentive, polite and courteous throughout the meal. Having "endured" many bland and lacklustre Christmas menus over the years it was nice to get a meal... More

I recently visited Kilworth House Hotel with two friends for a get together. We had a light lunch in the lounge. It was a delightful visit. The ambience was sumptuous and cosy and the recent Christmas decorations were exquisite. The staff were very friendly and paid us very good attention. The food was delicious. The macaroons and mince pies that... More

We stayed at this hotel at the end of November as a birthday treat for my husband. The road to the hotel is narrow with few passing places which makes it difficult when you meet someone. The hotel outside and inside was very well decorated for Christmas with trees everywhere, roaring log fires and even the corridor to the bedrooms... More

We stayed here for my companies Christmas event. The Hotel itself is superb. The service and staff were polite and the rooms were of a high standard. The hotel was decorated for Christmas inside and out and the whole atmosphere was enchanting. The entertainment for the evening was the "Rat Pack" tribute with a Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Sammy... More

The rooms are fantastic and have everything you require, only grumble is the noise from the fountain all night if you stay in a courtyard room. Maybe they could turn it off at 11pm until 6am? The food was very disappointing, the sprouts were inedible and every table complained. Portiins very small and beef was very fatty. The full english... More

We went Sunday 20th Nov. We had cream tea for 34 family and friends. We hired the library and when we walked in and saw it with all the Christmas decks we just loved it. Tina was the member of staff looking after us and she did a wonderful job and worked very hard. Making sure we all had drinks... More

We were very impressed with our first visit to this lovely countryside hotel. We had Sunday lunch in the Orangery. Service and staff were exemplary, in fact, I could not give them less than 10/10 for each part of the experience. The staff were courteous and friendly and so well organised (there was no waiting for each course). The food... More
