If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Absolutely shocking!! Rude management and rude staff. First of all when I asked if some thing was gluten free the assistant manager shrugged her shoulders with a look of disgust and walked off come back to the table and told me no. Food was appalling meat overcooked, mash (never seen...

Having had a very poor experience and unable to eat at a carvery in Hertfordshire, we drove home to Melton and went to the Harboro for a carvery. As a party of four we were greeted and seated, our drinks order taken and we were told someone would let us know when to go to the carvery station. There's simply...

We were served very efficiently with no waiting at all. Great choices - so many vareties of vegetable too and meats cooked just right. Lovely food all round; unfortunately we were too full to try a desert but some really appealing ones to try next time. HiWe highly recommend this carvery.

Booked in a group of 40. Visited twice beforehand to double check that they could cater for our needs; wheelchair etc and offered to pre-order as we wanted a mix of carvery and ordering off menu. Declined the pre-order and assured no problem with the large group number. Kept waiting for over 45 minutes, kept serving other people before us...

We had booked a lunch for eleven family members to have our Christmas get together at 12.30pm, one having travelled from Cardiff, two from Berkshire and a disabled relative by train and bus from Mansfield. The group included three young children. Having arrived on time we waited so long that many of us were beginning to feel faint or sick...

Visited today for lunch as a family of four adults and 3 children one of them was in a high hair attached to the table. Very clean dining area, friendly staff and lovely food. We were there about 2 hours and didn't feel rushed. Toilets were immaculate. Would certainly go back.

When we arrived the radiator in the room and the bathroom were both on full and i could barely breathe. I immediately turned off the bedroom one but the bathroom one seemed stuck on. We were in a room at the front so the road was too loud to open the window and it ended up being a really uncomfortable...

I visited this hotel with a number of friends on a walking weekend at Rutland Water. The food was good both the evening meal and the breakfast. The staff were very friendly and couldn't be anymore helpful. The rooms were clean and tidy and great value for money. They have a very large TV In the bar with SKY TV...

Booked last minute for a family Sunday lunch after a family walk. This is the third time we have been in 6 months and was a great experience as always. Food was lovely homecooked and plentiful. My two daughters were made a fuss of by the owner and the atmosphere was great! We will definitely be back soon.
