Stayed here for a couple of nights in between house hunting and it has been a lovely restful place for some downtime in between. The room is wonderful, very warm and cosy and the bed is excellent. Full tea and coffee making facilities with cookies on arrival. Wifi works perfectly here and there's signal even in this rural area. Very... More

We spent 2 nights here and we're very happy, good bed, good breakfast. Lovely host and cute dogs. The location near Melton is great and we would definitely stay again. Nice touches such as use of the fridge and sands knowledge and recommendations.

Sandy is the perfect host, very welcoming, friendly and extremely helpful. An excellent homely accommodation perfectly located for Melton Mowbray and many other visitor attractions. The rooms are tastefully furnished, everything is spotless and her standards are high. Sandy goes the extra mile to provide everything and gives attention to the smallest detail, e.g. leaving cookies on your well stocked... More

I am used to business travel staying in Premier Inns, Holiday Inns, Hiltons, De-Vere's but Sandy has made this place so homely we didn't want to leave.
